I am just a college student trying to figure out what I want to do in the world but in the meantime, I really, really enjoy writing. I've been writing practically my whole life but only recently started sharing my work. Most of my writing is Grey's Anatomy fan-fiction. I am OBSESSED with Grey's Anatomy seasons 1-9. Disclaimer in Regard to my Writing...

I am not the kind of author that writes fairytales. In my stories, while you will never see me kill off any of my favorite characters, some of them may get seriously injured, suffer from setbacks, and have fights. I also tend to write a fair amount of angst... not because I WANT my characters to suffer, but just because I think there is something so beautiful about recovery and comfort. I know that fluff has its place though and if anything gets too depressing, I will do my best to add some fluff in there! To put it simply, I do not believe in happily ever after. I guess that's the part of me that is dark and twisty inside like Meredith Grey.

Also, I DO NOT OWN GREY'S ANATOMY... but this is how things exist in my personal Grey's Anatomy universe (at least for my current fic). *SPOILERS AHEAD*

Everything is the same up until 8x23. I might change my mind later, and if I do, I will update this. But as of right now, sadly, George O'Malley is still dead. Ellis Grey is still dead. Reed Adamson, Charles Percy, Nurse Vivian, Derek's father etc. are all STILL DEAD. Maggie does not exist in my GA universe because I just think her character is too unbelievable and far-fetched. We may not have ever been told exactly how old Meredith was throughout her residency, but in my stories, her birthday is October 6th, 1978. She turned 30 during the fall of her intern year.

OH AND everything that happened in Grey's Anatomy happened one year later than it did on the show. I decided to do this so certain events would fit into timelines better. Mer and the rest of M.A.G.I.C. graduated from med school and started their internships in 2009. Lexie graduated med school and started her internship in 2009. The shooting happened in 2011 and the plane crash, in 2013. Hopefully that will help you understand things better!
