My name is Leigh (pronounced 'Lee').

DISCLAIMER:

I was 14 when I created this account. Before leaving negative sh*t on stuff from, like, 2011-ish, remember how you were at that age. Obviously I've improved as a writer, and if you'd like to challenge that statement, please feel free to find me on Archive of Our Own (AO3) where I am a lot more active.

Here's a little bit about me:

- Nonbinary. They/them pronouns are preferred.

- Age 21, yo.

- I'm the gayest gay ever to gay.

- My dream is to write a bestselling novel.

- As it says on my user profile, I've been a member of the void FFN since November of 2011, and I currently have no desire to leave.

- One thing about me is that in my fanfiction, when writing OC's or canon characters that don't have last names that I'm aware of, I put a ton of time and thought into choosing them. I spend hours looking up information to find the right first, middle, and last names for these characters based on their origin and meaning. Sadly, more often than not, it doesn't dawn on me to put them in the long-ass author's notes I have a nasty habit of writing.

- I play cello, guitar, and ukulele.

- I love both listening and playing music.

- I currently have three pets: A male dog named Jake, a female dog named Pepper, and an elderly, morbidly obese cat named Oliver.

- I have no biological siblings, but I have an older sister who isn't my sister by blood, rather, she's my sister by love. I also have a sister-in-law (my sister's wife. How cool is it to say that?! :D)

-Thanks to the aforementioned sister, I now have a beautiful niece named Dylan. She is my world.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING MY INVOLVEMENT ON FFN AND THE FANDOMS I'VE CONTRIBUTED TO HERE:

For those of you who are subscribed to me, I regret to say it, but my time on FFN as an author is coming to an end. I'm more active on ArchiveOfOurOwn (AO3) now because that's where most of my newer obsessions have fanworks. I may still beta on FFN on occasion, and I may still subscribe to a story here and there, but honestly, I've fallen out of love for Elsanna, Zutara, various Hunger Games ships, and whatever. That's not to say I don't still ship them and belong to those fandoms on some level, but I've just found things that have captured my interest more.

But keep up with me on AO3! I have some stories up so far for the Carmilla webseries, and several bookmarks for various fanfics that I adore. I have the link posted below!

So bear with me): Wonder Woman, Frozen, Brave, The Lion King, Tangled, Princess and the Frog, anything and everything else by Disney, Easy A, Corpse Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Breakfast Club, Airplane!, Pretty In Pink, Star Wars (all seven episodes, with Episode VI: Return of the Jedi being my favorite, and Episode III being the one that induced the most amount of pathetic sobbing), Better Off Dead, Tonight You're Mine, Dirty Dancing (Patrick Swayze turns me into a summertime snowman), Pitch Perfect, The Princess Diaries (both one and two), Ella Enchanted, pretty much everything with Anne Hathaway in it because she's been my favorite actress since childhood and my favorite human being of all time.

Favorite Movie/TV Show Genres: Comedy, children's, documentary (I have a weakness for historical documentaries, war especially), musical, romance (of course.)

Favorite Musicals/Movie Musicals: Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Hairspray, Rock of Ages, Footloose, Pitch Perfect (does that count...?)

Favorite TV Shows/Cartoons/Series: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Once Upon a Time, Carmilla (the web series) (aka my newest obsession), The Simpsons (in my top three favorite shows of all time. Matt Groening is a god), The 100, Agent Carter, Jessica Jones

Favorite Books/Series: I have so many that I'm only gonna list my top four out of order. They are: Beastly by Alex Flinn, and Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I recommend those three books more often than I recommend any others. They are amazing pieces of literature and will rip out your heart, fix it, then rip it out and stomp on it again before handing it back as a beaten, bloody, but satisfied mess of a muscle.
