Hey guys, miss me much? I have not abandoned the sequel to Beautiful Eyes. Here is how my summer went down. I decided to take a break from Lily, James and the Marauders and write a Harry/Ginny fic. Things were going great and I had 14 chapters written. My laptop had been in and out of the shop all summer with various problems, one of them being issues with my USB port. Seeing as I use my USB disk when writing my fics, this caused quite a problem. I took my USB disk down to Best Buy so that they could work on my computer with it and they lost my USB drive, with my fic on it. I am devastated. After an entire summer of constant trips to Best Buy, my laptop is still not working AND I have no USB drive. No fic, no three years worth of high school essays, no poems, no school projects, no nothing. I highly encourage ALL of my readers to NOT use Best Buy OR Geek Squad. My family was able to get our money back, however; my files are gone forever.

Recently, a silly idea for another Lily/James fic made its way into my head. I’m going to try it out for a while, but never fear, there WILL be a sequel to Beautiful Eyes (and hopefully I will someday get over the loss of my Harry/Ginny fic and attempt to re-write it.) Well, I have officially been write fanfics for 4 years. I began posting Beautiful Eyes during my freshman year of high school, and now I am in my senior year. For those of you who have been with me from the beginning, you may remember that I had a study hall freshman year, during which time I did an extensive amount of write. Well, its senior year, and not only do I have a study hall, but I also have early dismissal. I can’t make any promises that I will be able to update as often as I did when I first started writing, but I will try.
