 About me: - Canadian 100 percent and proud!I wouldn't trade my canadian-ness for anything! - I over use the word "Eh" no one seems to notice back home, but the minute I start talking to a tourist... - Horseback riding is my anti-drug! Jill is the best horse ever! - The only thing I really want to do with my life in this moment (Besides going to TO and meet the Flashpoint cast) is become a Vet. I want to specialize in horses. - I have this issue with over usuing punctuation. Like, putting comas where they don't go and forgetting periods. Plus, I suck at spelling. Thank god for spell check, right? ;) - I have a coke addiction. No, not the drug, the SODA! I can't go 10 minutes without a can of pepsi! - I also love caffine! Hyper, HYPER, HYPER!! - I can read about a book a day. I'm driving my parents into the poor house with my obsessive reading! - I hate math. Hate it. Think it shouldn't even be allowed to be a subject. Because that's what we have calculators for, right?- I find nothing gross with putting on my rainboots and treading around the creek looking for frogs. Think I'm a girly-girl? Pssshhhhh, think again. - And last, but NOT least, I am completly OCD about Flashpoint! If you want to know the extent of my obsession, scroll down! FLASHPOINT TIME!! Seriously though? Flashpoint is like, the BESTshow out there. Canadian OR American! And I do admit to having a little bit of an attachment to the Canadian-ness of the show ("Where's MY double double?" HAHA, Best line ever!) But, I just LOVE seeing the familiar-ness of the settings. Like, in "Eagle Two", I LOVED seeing the Royal York, in there (And not JUST because I stayed there one time :P) And then the 11th of July is Flashpoint day (C'mon people CELEBRATE!) Which I am SO exictied for by the way! AND on the 17th SEASON 3 IS STARTING! Be sure to watch on Fridays @ 9:00 on CBS! Favorite Characters: Favorite Episode: You know you're obsessed when... 1) Your friends are getting pissed because you watch Flashpoint on your iPod at lunch instead of talking to them 2) You're known around school as "That kid that's always talking real loud about Flashpoint, whatever the hell that is..." 3) You cried when you found out it's off the air till January. And not just a tear, you BAWLED your EYES out. For DAYS. (And you still cry yourself to sleep sometimes.) 4) You've MEMORIZED the CTV.ca bios of each character. 5) You use your Greg Parker negotiating skillz to negotiate people into giving you stuff. Food, hostages, money, you name it. 6) You find joy in sitting in a tree in your back yard, sniping people with a water gun. (This works better if you have walkie-talkies and a friend to stand on the ground and call "Scorpio!" at the right time.) 7) You wouldn't say no to living in your parent's basement, because that's what Spike does! (Character bios, ctv.ca) 8) Your friends and family have never seen the show, but they know every detail because it's all you ever talk about. 9) You sent multiple hate letters to CBS after they asked CTV to pull it off the air. (And you signed the letters "Sincerely, Greg, Ed, Sam, Jules, Spike, Wordy, and Lou.") 10) They replied your letter and suggested you make an appointment for a mental evaluation with Dr. Luria. 11) You watch Whistler and cheer at all the scenes with David Paetkau in them, even though you don't care for the rest of the show. 12) You regained faith in Canadian TV. 13) You regained faith in TV in general. 14) You walk around yelling that YOU are Sierra 1, and beat up anyone who disagrees. 15) You liken a everyone you know to a Flashpoint character. 16) You can amuse yourself for hours merely THINKING about Flashpoint, all the while smiling blankly. 17) People try never to bring up Flashpoint (or anything even remotely related to it) in your prescence, cuz once you get started, there's no shutting you up! 18) You can relate absolutely anything back to Flashpoint without even thinking too hard. 19) You watched ever movie that every actor in Flashpoint was ever in. 20) You managed to waste an entire 50 pacakge of glossy photo paper printing out pictures of your beloved Flashpoint characters. 21) You've gotten in trouble for beating up people who don't like the show. 22) Who needs imaginary friends when you can have an imaginary SRU? 23) You don't have room for for school stuff in your locker, because of all the Flashpoint pictures. 24) Same with your binder. 25) If you're lucky enough to have friends who are as obsessed as you, you often have fights over who Jules will hook up with, Sam or Lou? Then someone suggested she hook up with Ed, and nobody has spoken since. 26) You had a Welcome Back cake for Greg when he comes home from Dallas (episode 9), but now you have to wait until January to give it to him! Hopefully your freezer works. 27) You have run wild through the streets of Toronto searching for the SRU headquarters. (I WISH!) 28) You know the birthday, age, and middle name of every character, even though it never said on the show. 29) You send at least 1 e-mail per day to CTV asking/begging them to bring out Flashpoint-themed mugs, hats, and T-shirts. 30) You had a hissy fit when you found out that your school isn't doing Flashpoint! as their annual musical. 31) You have watched Flashpoint on your iPod in every possible location just so you can say "Hey, I watched Flashpoint there!" 32) Other fans have begun hating the show because your obsession made them sick of it. 33) Your friends have sworn never to watch it because they don't want to become as crazy as you. 34) Some lady legally married a rock back in the 70's, why not a Flashpoint DVD? (As soon as it comes out, anyway). 35) You can hum the theme music. 36) You can say Scorpio in 12 languages. 37) You're not a Chevy person, but you bought one because they're the choice vehicle of the SRU. (Again, I WISH!) 38) You bought a Gigantic, Hi-Def, Plasma Screen TV for Flashpoint purposes ONLY!! 39) You can draw the SRU logo with your eyes closed. 40) You know what Armis Exposcere Pacem means, and where it can be found... 40) You know 100 percent without a doubt, that YOU are the #1 fan in the world, and you are willing to Scorpio anyone who suggests otherwise. Sadly, Most of this applies to me... Haha, Thanks Roxypony! My incredibly loong Disney rant.. UGH, Honestly? How do you Twi-heads and Disney freaks live with yourselves? You guys are killing Television. Seriously? It's like Disney and Twilight have taken over the world. Like, this one time, (Before Twilight) I went in to this Chapters store in South Keys, and I SWEAR TO GOD, there was this HEEUGE, GIANT, UGGLY, Hanna montana stand with all these like, 14 page books on display. Like, seriously? HOW PATHETIC! Disney is TELEVISION it shoud not be invading book stores. And this other time, I was watching the 7:00 news on CTV and I was looking through the guide during the comercials, and then I saw that there was this show? Or something? About STUPID High school musical. I Mean EEWWWWWWW! What self-respecting adult (Or kid?) would watch THAT!! Anyway, I could probably go on forever.. but I'm tired and would rather write happy stuff now. Moreand more about mee... Favorite TV shows! Favorite Music! |
