Rusty lets out a relieved breath as the baby takes the formula, thankful for some peace and quiet. He watches Sharon, a happy smile on her face, mumbling words he couldn't hear. It made him wonder what it would've been like to grow up with her for a mother.

One day an unexpected surprise changes Andy's life completely.

In 1990, Sergeants Raydor and Flynn meet on an award trip to London. Each of them carries their own issues, but somehow they find comfort in each other. But the friendship they form is tested by lust and by commitments.

At forty-two, Sharon did not imagine her life this way. Twin five year olds, two teenagers, a step-daughter and a husband she loved. It wasn't what she imagined, but that didn't mean she had any complaints.

Total A/U-Set after Provenza's wedding. Sharon takes the NFL job, and her life becomes an absolute mess. Thank goodness none of this really happened. Ages, ideas-yeah, all way out there, I know. Sharon and Andy encounter an unlikely guest in their lives as they continue to move forward in their relationship.

The last part to this series is the fourth installment, "A New Beginning Again."

Sharon's daughter Christine comes to town and stirs up some trouble for the captain and one of her lieutenants, but with a copy cat murder case to solve, with they ever have the chance to figure out whats happening between them?
