June has trouble being around Day - or she should call him Daniel, but she won't. Day can't get enough of the girl who brings back more of his memories than anyone - anything else. Slowly, they work together to push through June's loss and through Day's fight. This is my little idea of how they find each other again.

What if something happened to June so bad while Day was gone that she might never recover? If you lot everything and little hope you had left would you do something? Some people did something really bad and hurt a lot of people and didn't care. They did something to June. Now she is broken in what seems like a million pieces. Now Day is back and so is the bad guys.

Takes place a few weeks after Prodigy. Day is wrestling with guilt after hurting June. June is trying to immerse herself back into the routine of her new life with little success. After Tess comes to visit Day he realizes that he may not be doomed to die. Twist and turns at every corner try to figure out the truth behind Day's illness and follow June as she follows her light.
