The failed negotiations leave Vader in the awkward position of being stuck in a besieged bunker with his son and a pirate who tells too many 'amusing' Clone Wars stories.

It's two years after the Yuuzahn Vong war; Luke and Mara have taken Ben with them on a family vacation. However, Fate has different plans for the Skywalkers as someone from Luke's past returns. Separated from his beloved family, Luke is caught up in a dangerous series of games in which it's kill or be killed. And if he doesn't perform, it's not he who will pay the price.

5th in PD series. The saying the past can haunt some, comes true. Those you thought were dead turns out to be alive and those are the type of people that will be after you. Even if you know that they might be alive sometimes it takes physical evidence to prove that the dead is alive once more to cause trouble.

This was a TFN writing challenge. I was to write the opening scene and crawl for Star Wars Episode 7. I know EP7 is not going to be anything like this, but I wanted to have fun with this story.
