Born Manzikert U. Troy the Second, I come from a family generations-deep into military roots. I was raised alongside four brothers, three of which were older than me, and one younger. Our mother died following the birth of my younger brother, Oleander, and following that we were shipped from one military camp to the next, our father having appointed various guardians to monitor our progress during his own career.

At age 17, I was promoted to the head of my unit in the Weapons Initiated by Natural Genetics, better known as WING, program. My unit consisted of myself and my four brothers, and we were quickly ascending the ranks to be the next graduates into the Achean Imperial Military.

There are some memories better left repressed...

Two years later, I served the Achean Imperial Military as a member of the Tactical Assault Kill and Espionage (TAKE) division, along with my then partner Reich. We were charged with the task of infiltrating and dismantling the Assassins' Guild, an organization which had long plagued the nation of Achea, before, during, and even after the war. While there, Reich and I were at one point effortlessly handling the grunts, until three superiors made themselves apparent: Brimstone, The Assassin Cross, and a man named Dilante who would, through unforeseen circumstances, become my best friend and confidante in the years subsequent. At which point, Reich left me for dead, and through an all too familiar freak accident, I overcame all of the assassins with the exception of Brimstone, who would ascend to head the organization following The Assassin Cross's death, and Dilante himself.

At 21, I met the woman who would later come to be my wife, Thornika, after we came to a stalemate on my assignment to assassinate her. Being so impressed with her skill in battle, and being the first person I had ever met to withstand my signature Meteor Bolt,
I used my clout within the military to enlist her as a probative member of my task force, which had previously been myself alone. We were distant, but there was a sort of unspoken protectiveness that we shared for one another.

The next year, a tracker was assigned to our unit by the name of Dilante. We had fought once before at the Assassins' Guild, but due to the fluke that had occurred there, I hardly had any recollection of him outside of the familiarity of his jacket.

Together, Dilante, Thornika, and I, conquered the Assassins' Guild and the monstrous behemoth that it unleashed known only as the "Remenos," and grew together as friends, heroes, and humans. Well, Thorn didn't grow as a human, being that she is a vampire, so much as she recovered her lost humanity.

In summary, I leave you with words of wisdom: All the world's a stage, all the people its players, so don't be surprised by Fate's plot twists.
