Three months after Rome, Clint and Natasha are sent on a mission to Monaco to take down a casino tycoon and human trafficker by the name of Pierre Moreau. Gambling, torture, and car chases ensue. Sequel to To Rome With Love.

When Clint is compromised on a solo mission in Rome, Natasha takes it upon herself to get him back. Despite SHIELD's orders and her belief that love is for children, she vows she'll get him out alive. Even if that means she has to die in the process.

At first she's shocked, and doesn't know how to react, but more letters keep coming, explaining inexplicable things. Natasha Romanoff had looked down the length of her assassin's arrow and known it was over - her life was going to end. But then he'd paused, something had flashed over his eyes, and he'd lowered the arrow. Clint Barton had been sent to kill her - he made a different call. Tony Stark gets sick with pneumonia and refuses to get help from anyone. Steve Rogers is not willing to listen and comes to nurse him back to health anyway. Tony realizes that he might have found a friend in Steve after all. Friendship! NO SLASH!

After the end of the battle against Loki, three members of the Avengers have nowhere to go. No family. No friends. Steve finds himself worrying about Clint & Natasha. Clint struggles with the aftermath of having his mind controlled. This is actually a section from a much larger, Loki-oriented fic that I am currently in the process of writing, but this particular part is not dependent on the plot of the larger fic, and I thought it worked well as a one-shot.
