Hello to all!

Greetings! My real name is Jennifer, though most know me as Irene Sharda (Irene is my middle name). Jesus is the absolute head of my life, and it's through him that I am truly free!

I have been writing and reading fiction ever since I was in fourth grade, and since I'm now an adult working as a teacher myself, I guess that would make it a very long time! LOLZ!
I have a degree in Biochemistry with a masters in Teaching, and I while I am wholly American, I enjoy the French culture and decided to minor in that early in my college career.

I am determined to become a writer even while I make my way into getting my doctorate, and I feel that being able to vent my first works here has really helped me a lot.

Now a bit about myself. I am a romanticist at heart, and love the genre, but I do hate those sappy, tween romances that I doubt I would haven even liked had I still been a tween *coughTwilightcough*. I enjoy Star Trek, Star Wars, superheroes, good political and epic fantasy and adventure. I have a very large media range over movies, cartoons, comics, novels, manga, and anime.

Yet despite my love of pop culture, I love regular culture dearly as well. I am an avid patron of the arts and love a good play, Broadway musical, opera, or classical concert. Also of right now, my favorite play is Pride and Prejudice, my favorite musical is Les Miserables, and my favorite opera is The Magic Flute.

For music, I love everything from Sandy Patti to E Nomine; from Rock and Trance, to Classical and Piano. My favorite genre though is probably musical showtunes.

I'm currently working as a teacher in Kitakyushu, Japan though my home is really in Chicago with my family.

(8/22/2016) Wow, I really haven't updated anything in years! I've been busy with school and life and I've never really gotten the chance or inclination to go back into writing fanfics. However, I have the interest to perhaps pick up the quill again, but I'm making no promises. I really just want to see what I can do. I currently write anime blog reviews for a site called Metanorn, so that's been taking a chunk of my writing time. But I am feeling the call once again to fiction. However if I do there are really one two stories that I will be working on at this point: The End of All Hope, and a new one that I am interested in starting, Kin and Consanguinity which will be a Star Wars fic. We will have to see how this all goes.

(9/22/2012) As of this moment, most of my stories will be officially on hold as I'm working on my own personal project as well as a few new tales as well. I will still be working on the following stories:

My mind churns out new ideas every other minute so I actually have the beginnings of several other fanfics that I have already started and some I just have the ideas and/or outlines for:

-Deae Ascensionis (Final Fantasy VII)

-The Once and Future King (Bleach)

-A Love That Covereth (Phantom of the Opera)

-Æsir Blood (Thor/Avengers)

-Heritage (Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes)

-Aurelian Midnight (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)

-Dark Change (Carpathian Series)

Well, we'll see how this goes and which ones will make it across the finish line.

(9/20/2012) Wow it's been a long time since I changed anything up here! I'm still here and I do work on my stories from time to time. Right now I'm working on some new ones and some old ones. I haven't been watching any new anime in awhile and have been really keeping myself to movies and books.

(5/06/2008) As of today, I am going to be taking over Jusrecht's Code Geass fanfiction entitled "The Road to Stockholm". Since I have three other stories of my own that I am currently concentrating on, the updates will be a little slow. But I will keep with it, and I hope you will enjoy it!

(5/05/2008) My story "The Evening Star of Dawn" has been put on hiatus right now, since I have so many other stories that need my attention, as well as my personal life. I shall return to it one day, but it won't be for awhile still.
