Author has written 1 story for Naruto. Profile Gender: Male Age: somewhere between 13 and ? Location: US of A occupation: Misfit Hobbies: First of all, Music is my biggest hobby. I'm partial to Punk Rock and Thrash metal. I also listen to some Death Metal, Speed metal, Oi, Crust, Anarcho, Crossover thrash, Hardcore, Grundge, Rock & Roll, Power Metal, and Black Metal. I'm an old anime fan, meaning I like the old "so called clishe" anime. Fist of the North Star, Akira, Ninpu Kamui Gaiden, Cyborg 009, Kikaider, and Astro boy are some of my favorites. I also like some of the new school Shounen anime, like Kenshin, Naruto, and Bleach. Sometime I'm playing Warcraft III: TFT with a few of my online buddies, and sometimes I'm writing stories. (To tell the truth, most of my stories are from Naruto, just because there is so much to use.) Most of the time I'm hanging out with my friends and partying though. Music I like: Punk/Oi!/Crust/Anarcho/Hardcore/Crossover Thrash: Dead Kennedys, Bad religion, Pennywise, Rancid, Rise against, Bad Brains (quite possibly the MOST underrated hardcore band), Misfits, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Adolescents, the Vandals, the Adicts, the Exploited, Social Distortion, Cockney Rejects, Oi Polloi, Condemned 84, Discharge, Iggy & the Stooges, the Ramones, Spasm 151, Distraught, and Antischism. Black/Thrash/Speed/Power/Death metal: Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, As I Lay Dying, Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth, Testament, Overkill, Exodus, Kreator, Sodom, Annihilator (Old Annihilator), Sepultura, Pantera, Morbid Angel, Dismembered, Disembowled, Lamb of God, Trivium, Obituary, Napalm Death, Death, Kamelot, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, Death Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Nightwish, the Gathering, Theatre of Tragedy, Hammerfall, I.Q., Blind Guardian, and Dragonforce. Grunge/Rock & Roll: Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, Def leppard, AC/DC, Ozzy/Black sabbath, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, the Rolling stones, Queen, the Beatles, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Kansas, Boston, Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Johnny Cash. Basically this is me, Mostly music, but some writing. Some things I don't like: I don't like Hip Hop, and the reason is the lack of strength in the songs. Most hip hop songs are soft and have little power behind it. When I'm listening to music I want to get the feeling that I'm invincible, and through Metal and Punk rock, I get just that. The guitar and the drums are excellent tools for pulling powerful songs and solos, and that's what I like. Bottom line, Hip hop puts me to sleep, and I'm pretty sure hip hop wasn't meant to do that to people. Nu-Metal: This one particularly puts a bad taste in my mouth. Nu metal blends traditional metal with hip-hop style lyrics. The problem I have with this is the bands have a problem with coherency between the tabs and the lyrics. Bands like Disturbed (Not that bad of a band though), Slipknot (Not that bad either), Limp bizkit, Evanescence, and Linkin Park are Nu-metal bands. Most are overrated in my opinion, and all do not please my ears. (New) Emo: This one I have to divide, because there are two things most people don't realize. Firstly, The emo bands you probably think are emo (Taking back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, the Used, etc..) Are NOT emo. Emo was a movement in the late 80's or so in response to the rise of popularity of Punk Rock and Hardcore bands. Basically, emo is emotionally charged hardcore punk. Secondly, for the most part, I find it pretty boring. The only bands that really stood out for me was Fugazi and Rites of spring, and even then I don't appreciate them much. And these "new emo" bands I dislike even more. The reasons are most of them have those annoying whinning voices that really grate on my nerves, and another reason is that their songs are more or less complaining about heartbreak and how they "miss" their (former) lovers. Oh god, I think I'm going to hurl if I keep on this track. That's about all for now, I dislike very little. (and it's mostly in music...) |
