Hey there. I'm John and this is my fanfiction page.

Of course i've been writing since I was in 6th grade when I started writing really bad fan fiction and I was a freshmen when I published my last really bad fan fiction, though I kept creative writing as a hobby. I've had 8 failed novel attempts that, however disappointing, steered me in the proper direction of good writing. I'm not published and i'm certainty not a professional but, rather, a well read hobbyist. I frequent the site tvtropes.org which helps me understand tropes and how they can be used to form good characters and a developed plot (even though my personal belief is character over plot). I have Tourettes Syndrome as well. I grunt, squeak, shake my head a lot, and I twitch. I also have Anxiety disorder which causes a lot of my emotional writing (usually what i've written Junior year when it was bad). I tend to get dramatic and depressed but when I'm not anxious, I'm incredibly happy and very hyper which leads me to my third and final disability, ADD. I get distracted very often and I'm an impulse person. This is the reason why i'm a short story writer instead of writing longer pieces of fiction. Moving on:

Age: That'll change in a year so i'll just say I was born in 1993. Savvy?

Physical description: My only huge distinguishing characteristic is my hair. It's long and shaggy, mostly because I hate how I look with short hair. I usually comically use the excuse, "I'm going for the Beatles look."

Favorite books: The Bartimaeus Trilogy, The Harry Potter series, Stephen King's IT, Stephen King's Under the Dome, The Catcher in the Rye, The Lord of the Rings.

Video games: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. Mass Effect Trilogy, Halo Series, Mirror's Edge, Shadow of the Colossus, Gears of War (all of them), Batman Arkham Asylum and City.

Tv Shows: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Wilfred, Top Gear, and that's about it. I barely watch TV

Movies: Star Wars original trilogy, Boondock Saints, Kick-Ass, Inception, The Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings, etc etc.

Activities: Video games, Writing, Photography, lomography, Yo-yoing
