Umbridge finds seven books about Harry Potter from another dimension in the Room of Requirement and decides to read them aloud to the school in an ill-advised attempt to discredit Dumbledore. Hilarity ensues. Features an actual plot, realistic reactions, decent pacing, *and minimal quotations*.

Hermione comes up with a contingency plan for Harry's Ministry hearing, and they decide their education can be better pursued elsewhere—at the largest and oldest school of magic in the world: Uagadou. Voldemort won't know what hit him. Harry/Hermione.

Goblin courts are inhumane, the Ministry thinks it can arrange marriages, and Voldemort wants to oppress everybody. The muggle government is not amused.

Harry escapes the Dursleys with a unique bout of accidental magic and eventually winds up at the Grangers' house. Hermione grows up as a maths whiz instead of a bookworm and tests into Arithmancy in her first year. With the help of her friends and Professor Vector, she puts her superhuman spellcrafting skills to good use in the fight against Voldemort. Years 1-4. Sequel posted.
