Kaito is shot during a heist and wakes up to find himself chained to a hospital bed and under arrest. As Hakuba and Kaito discuss the circumstances behind the thief's capture and the charges against him, Kaito's opinion of the detective slowly changes. With a surprise, feel-good twist at the end.

"Tell me again why I'm doing this Sherlock?" "It's for a case John, I told you..." Sherlock gets permission to experiment on John on the pretext of solving a case, although the results aren't quite what either of them expected! Eventual Johnlock, with some fun hiccups along the way.

"How high is your regard for me, Watson?" He asked abruptly, his eyes still trained on the fire. "If I were to confess my darkest secret would you leave? Would you abandon me here to my melancholy?" The air in 221B was bitterly cold, not like Sherlock purposely tampered with the thermostat or anything of the sort...In result, the detective came to a conclusion that the idea of body heat exchanged through cuddling would be sufficient in keeping him and his flatmate warm . But with one condition, John wears his red pants as they cuddle on the lounge sofa.
