For Monsterkind, the Surface represented freedom. For Frisk, it's a return to some uncomfortable realities. It all began with a simple wish. When that wish faded, Frisk tried to move on. Except, 'moving on' was not so simple. Emerging from the Underground had put them in a worldwide spotlight. From an unknown child, they had become an icon of great value.

Undertale was a great RPG, and still is. Released in 2015, this game became famous. It has a great story, cool characters, great music and a feeling that connected us to the game. A feeling called: Determination. But have you wondered what happened after the events of Undertale? This story is about Frisk's life and his friends life 12 years into the future.

The Royal Scientist was shattered across space and time, never to be seen again... but the three broken pieces of his soul didn't die with him. Instead, each found a place in a human child. Exactly seventeen years later, the trio are drawn back into the Underground to finish a plan they set in motion long ago, in a life they never lived.

In a timeline where the monsters have banished the humans underground, a child has climbed to the surface above. The child awakens to find a world that they may never want to leave, and is thrown into the midst of an unfinished story of sacrifice, loss, and determination. After a Reset gone wrong, Frisk finds herself in a peculiar situation and left only with the ability to continue.
