Hi all! I'm Melissa! I'm fourteen and live in the south. So I pretty much live off sweet tea(glass in my hand right now) and we eat grits often.

Yeah, it's cold outside right now. It's NEVER this cold outside. It's freaking lower alabama! And to you guys suffering through the negative degrees weather, I don't know how you survive. It's 20 degrees here and I'm having panic attacks every five minutes, curling into a ball and repeating over and over, "Four months til summer, four months til summer"

Sorry, around here everyones doing that, and this was the only place I could talk about it. Because, you know, this is MY profile.

Melissa's Game of Favorites (When it Happens by Susane Colasanti is where I heard of that. If you haven't read it I strongly recommend it:)

Food: Italian or Mexican at this moment.

Drink: Sweet tea

Candy: M&Ms

Career: An author, but if that doesn't work out I'm also liking the FBI's Bahavior Analysis Unit:)

Television show: Criminal Minds, CSI (preferably Miami), Gilmore Girls

Hat: My MAGIC hat of course! It's MAGIC!

Movie:At this moment, Prince Caspian(partly because that's what's on right now)

Book: Hmm...I can't choose. I read a book a day, so it's always changing. But I like anything by Ally Carter, Sarah Dessen, and Maureen Johnson. Others I can think of are Richelle Mead, Stephenie Meyer, and I'm begining some of Alyson Noel's The Immortal series. Any of those make the top of my Favorite book list.

Music: I have a lot of random songs. I'll hear it somewhere and sing it again and again and again until I'm forced to buy it. Resulting in many downloads and a very full iPod.

Friends, School, and Internet addictions

Friends: I have four best friends. One is a very good artist(though she insists that she isn't), one is fourteen going on four, one is the only reason I made it to Algebra(and the reason I'm still in it), and one is very strange(and a slight pervert). Sometimes I'm ready to slap her when she says, "That's what she said, That's what he said" at EVERYTHING I do.

School: All my friends go to school with me, but I rarely see them. Except at Teen Challenges(You'd be surprised at how many challenges they think 8th graders face) with Mary and Algebra I(It's advanced, everyone else is in Pre Algebra) with Alison. But we see each other at lunch, so I'll share a typical conversation with you:

Alison: I didn't understand question 26, did you understand it Melissa?

Me: I don't know, the book isn't in front of me. What was 26 again?

Danielle: What. Are. You. Eating? points to the cottage cheese cup in my hand

Me: Uh, cottage cheese? looks into cup

Danielle: Eww...Emily she's eating cottage cheese. Out of a container thingy.

Alison: Question 26 was about trinomial squares! starts to call out the problem with no book in front of her

Mary to Emily: So they got this new doctor...he sucks! I want to chop his legs off at different lengths...

Me: That sounds painful...

Mary: That's what he said!

Everyone but Mary groans. Few minutes later...

Danielle: OH! That's what he said! starts laughing, Mary joins in

Me to Emily: Why do we eat with them?

Emily: I don't know, we sit down and when they join us we're to nice to ask them to leave...

Me, taking a sip of juice: Oh my God! Have you tried this new juice? White Grape AND Apple, like an explosion in your mouth!

And last but not least, my insane internet addiction. I'm not sure when it developed, but I knew I needed help when:

I started checking my email and twitter every five minutes.

I have not one, not two, but THREE email accounts(Five if you count the ones I don't use)

When I don't have anything to do, I google stuff. Random stuff.

It take me an hour to check everything when I get home from school

So this has been my profile. I have a procrastinating problem(which is why my story isn't updated) and so my profile is probably going to stay like this for a very long time. I only chose to update it now because...well, I'm supposed to be doing my Algebra homework right now. But I'll get around to it...eventually. Probably on the ride to school tomorrow:)
