Hiya! First things first, I'm strange. I have odd concepts and themes that repetitively go through my head. And I have difficulties concentrating. So often enough, I will have more than one story going to hold my interest. Also, I'm always willing to review for those who review for me. I like to return the gestures. _

I decided to update my profile, if for no other reason than I was sick of seeing the same text each time I opened it. A point of interest for those who partook in my last pole: Soren was the winning male and it was a tie between Lyn and Micaiah for the females. Also, if anyone gets bored and wants to PM me randomly, I'm open to it. I'm always glad to respond if someone wants to chat. :)

If anyone is wondering where that came from out of the blue, it is exactly what you can expect me to write at 12:15 in the morning.

Random muses for the deeper mind-(If anybody wants to argue these points, feel free to. I always like a good debate.)

1) If mankind failed to exist as a whole, would it really matter granted that there would be nothing left to care? Especially considering that we destroy more of the planet than we save.

2) Should recycling really be considered saving the earth? To save something, you rescue it. We create the garbage, so isn't "saving" really an overglorified way of saying some of us clean up after ourselves and others don't?

3) Perfection: Goal or paradox? To be perfect is to possess no flaws. To possess no flaws would make one stand out from the crowd. To stand out is to enevitably be disliked. To be disliked is to possess qualities that others find undesirable. To be undesirable is to be imperfect. Thus, perfection is imperfection in itself. Truth of perfection: It is a state of mind. Perfection belongs to its own.

4) Fur coats. Anyone who has owned an animal has realized that you get so much fur if you leave the animal alive! And it would be better for publicity. Why kill it when you get more from the better angle? Well, you can't expect these beauty queens to actually be able to do business I suppose.

5) War vs. Peace- The logic. Our government says we must go to war to be safe. Talk is not an option. To save lives we must fight. WELL... Martin Luther King made one of the largest movements in American history when he fought for African rights. How many deaths? Notably mentioned his. There was a non peaceful way that came before his... part of it was General Sherman torching the South and the South shooting at the North while they tried to run into Southern territory. How many deaths? I don't even remember the number. It was that high and reconstruction was long and painful. Sure, the civil war did supposedly abolish slavery...except many of the Africans ended up working on plantations due to the low African rights. They were techniquely free but right back where they started until they could work their way up. Maybe it isn't such a good arguement for today, so I will try this. If Archduke Ferdinand's death was handled more rationally, we wouldn't have had WWI. If there was no WWI, Germany would not have been angry with the impoverished state they were left in from war debt, thus causing them to not follow Hitler's every word to pull them out of poverty. Without such strong support, Hitler wouldn't have been powerful enough to start invading countries and slaughtering people in concentration camps. As such, there would be no WWII. (Japan would have been more easily defeated and likely less bold without the support of Germany.) Without WWII, the U.S. and U.K would not have felt so obligated to take Middle Eastern land to create the country Israel. (Israel would have probably been formed either way at some point, but without the war under more diplomatic styles.) Had we not taken land from the Middle east they wouldn't target us more than any other free country. If we were not targeted more, we would not feel so threatened and would not feel as though we had to defend ourselves. There are many scenarios but all and all one thing can be surmised. When the higher ups say "We fight for peace." it really means "Why negociate? That doesn't fulfill the typical human bloodlust.

1) What if chewing tin foil really does kill brain cells...How many of you are now going to chew tin foil the next time you're holding some just because I mentioned it?

2) If fish are brainfood then why are they so dang easy to catch?

3) If Trix are for kids, why are we buying them as teenagers? I do believe that is false advertising.

4) If math and science are logic, why can our teachers not comprehend why we just don't care?

5)Expensive=high quality, right? What if it isn't shiney? Then is it really that valuable? Not really. Think about it.

Love vs. Sex

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit
some friends one
evening
and time passed quickly as each shared
their
various experiences of the past year.

She ended up staying longer than
planned,
and
had to walk home alone. She wasn't
afraid
because it was a small town and she lived
only
a
few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm
trees,
Diane asked God to keep her safe from
harm
and
danger.

When she reached the alley, which was a
short
cut to her house, she decided to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she
noticed
a
man standing at the end as though he
were
waiting
for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray,
asking
for
God's protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness
and
security wrapped round her, she felt as
though
someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley,
she
walked right past the man and arrived
home
safely.

The following day, she read in the
newspaper
that
a young girl had been raped in the same
alley
just
twenty minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and
the
fact
that it could have been her, she began to
weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help
this
young woman, she decided to go to the
police
station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so
she
told
them her story.

The police asked her if she would be
willing to
look
at a lineup to see if she could identify
him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out
the
man
she had seen in the alley the night
before.

When the man was told he had been
identified,
he
immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery
and
asked if there was anything they could do
for
her.

She asked if they would ask the man one
question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not
attacked
her.

When the policeman asked him, he
answered, "Because she wasn't alone.
She
had
two tall men walking on either side of
her."

Amazingly, whether you believe or not,
you're
never alone. Did you know that 98 of
teenagers
will not stand up for God?
