I live in a house in Maine with my husband and a dog named Spirit. I love stories and have been around fanfiction a lot longer than my ID would suggest. This website is my guilty pleasure. There are so many creative people out there. I am awed by all of you.

Books--I used to be known as a voracious reader. Some people are still fooled into thinking I am. It's sad, but I think I've become too lazy...or maybe too busy for most books. I buy them, save them, and then read them in one sitting on a rainy day. Maybe I'm just too impatient to get to the ending. I can't stand not knowing what is going to happen next. So, I try to space out my reading time. If I have a book in my hand, chances are I won't be able to put it down or think about anything else until it's done. And that's a hard thing to accomplish between work and family. Currently, my favorite authors are: Diana Gabaldon, Peter David, and Van Reid. Trust me, there are many others...but I don't want to completely bore you. :-)

Dislikes:

Black Olives. To me, they taste like blood. Gross.

yep...that about covers it.
