Author has written 1 story for Naruto. So I've been meaning to get to doing this profile for a while. My new (again) account on FictionPress already has something up there. I've only got one story up on here right now, and that would be my Alternate Universe Orochimaru thing. Yeah. I might be putting up something for FullMetal Alchemist, but I haven't watched it in a while so the details are mildly fuzzy to me. I'm thinking of publishing a Black Cat thing, but I don't know if I should make it a one shot or a story with just a few chapters. That, and I'm trying to figure out if it would be out-of-character for Train or not. So anyway, if you want to get at me, I'm on Twitter and LiveJournal. My LiveJournal hasn't been updated in forever though. Guhh. No time. My View On Fanfiction (Short, but just something to say.) So I support pairings of characters of a series with each other, no lie, i.e. Train x Saya, Sasuke x Sakura, etc. That kind of thing. But time and time again I find/see people who are strict on this viewpoint and sometimes bring up "Hey wait, no, she/he belongs with him/her though!!" I don't doubt that, I'm not against it, whatever. However, for me, writing fanfiction is taking on a kind of literal definition. The fan-made character made for the purpose of a fictional plot within the original plot. That's what fanfiction is to me when I write it. Such as the Black Cat fanfictions I'm taking on - based on the relationship between Train and Saya that I see made romantic a lot, I'm trying to be cautious with how I write his story (one is focusing on my OC and the other focuses on him), and because of the differences between the anime and manga. For example, in the anime, there's a short arc in the beginning that we see him working for Chronos whereas in the beginning of the manga - and correct me if I'm mistaken - we see him two years after he leaves Chronos. The plotline that the anime follows is central to the development of my OC and Train in my Black Cat fanfictions. Saya and some of the other characters of Train's life - mainly the females - are weaved in as plot and character progressors though, so they're not completely cut out. There's my little bit on what I feel about writing fanfiction. I could have made it longer, but I probably would just be repeating myself a lot. I hope everyone at least can respect where I'm coming from |
