What the hell? Dude. This site is so weird. I hate the layout here. Oh well. I just came to read and possibly flame people's retarded stories, mostly. I don't write much anymore, and not consistently enough to post it online, so, yeah.

Anyway, my name is Akara. No, it's not my real name but it's what I go by online. I'm 17 and a senior in high school.

I like stuff like poetry, literature, art, and philosophy. I used to love anime and manga but I kinda grew out of that. I just can't get into it anymore. It all seems so stupid now. And to think I wasted years of my life and thousands of dollars on that crap. Jeez.

My favorite kind of music is rock. Some of my favorite bands/singers are Linkin Park, Straylight Run, Matchbox 20, Plain White T's, My Chemical Romance, Rob Thomas, Nirvana, The All-American Rejects, and probably others that I forgot. I also love musicals and I have and love the soundtracks to The Phantom of the Opera and Sweeney Todd.

I like a lot of horror movies. Some movies I've watched recently that I like are Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Sweeney Todd, The Phantom of the Opera, and Labyrinth. Labyrinth is hilarious. xD

Some TV shows I like are The X-Files, Dr. G: Medical Examiner, Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Bones, CSI, and various stuff on Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel.

I'm a Christian. If you don't like it, I don't care. I am NOT, however, one of those Bible-thumping religious freaks who wants to shove their religion down your throat, so don't judge me. I WILL defend myself and my beliefs though.

I'm fascinated by things like cryptozoology and the paranormal and I love researching it. I actually have a lot of eclectic interests and I'll research just about anything just because I like learning about stuff. Wikipedia is my best friend.

I'm not a very social person and I don't get along with most people. I generally just think most people are idiots and it's hard for me to like people. I do have friends though and I love them very much. But the most important thing in the world to me is my family, especially my mom. I could lose everything else but if I lost her I would absolutely die. I don't get out and do a whole lot. I don't go over to friends' houses much just because I don't really enjoy it. I don't like being away from home.

I love my cat and dog. Well... I love my cat. My dog is a one-eyed Boston Terrier named Lobo and he is just kinda pathetic. He can be cute though, I guess. My cat is named Friskie and although she might possibly be the spawn of Satan, I still love her, and she loves me in her weird violent little way. All the bite marks and scars she gave me out of love.
