 Author has written 5 stories for Akatsuki no Yona/暁のヨナ, Final Fantasy VII, and Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club. Current project(s): In pursuit of Olympic Dreams Fluff plus swimming. Family, or something like it This is a fic I’m writing to process some of the things that have happened in my family. It’s heavy subject matter, hopefully with a few sunbreaks here and there. It’s also an opportunity to explore a few Aerith/Sephiroth scenarios that I’ve been thinking about for awhile. [Currently on hold] I do plan to get back to this story, but likely not until In Pursuit is complete. I can't handle the feels right now. On tumblr as ladyzeia...though it is 99% Yuri on Ice... With regards to writing: It’s my dream to publish a book someday. I have several original projects in various states of neglect and disarray (work is busy). My all-time favorite writing resource is The Art & Craft of Writing Christian Fiction by Jeff Gerke, which I highly recommend regardless if you’re looking to write for that genre or not. Really great information on do’s & don’t’s and how to recognize & avoid common pitfalls. Back in 2010-ish, I had a fully written manuscript and sent the first 50k words to a professional editor. It was a very humbling experience. He was courteous and supportive, but it was the only way I got the message that my writing craft needed refinement to be publishable. Discouragement leveled me for a while after that, but I’ve been slowly working my way back. Writing fanfic is a way for me to practice, hone my technique, and play. I love reading fanfics as well.
