Arkadaşlar Türkçe konuşabiliyorum/日本語でも大丈夫

I am a hobbyist writer with a day job, back in the Southern US for now. I've been writing on ff.net for over a decade now, and I'm definitely not a teenager anymore. Current writing goal is to finish more original stories, write my YYH fic, cut a lot of the excess out of CTD and to not take 50 million years to finish. One day I hope to publish. I'm also a huge Simpsons fan. I was educated in both the US and UK so I have been known to write in a 'charming' mix of Yankee/Blighty English. I love studying languages and I cosplay. I'm also a Nanowrimo winner for 2016 :D

Disclaimer for all stories: Some pretty nasty stuff happens in my stories and I want to say that if my characters do anything vile, it doesn't mean that *I* agree with that behaviour, as a person.

CTD was meant to be a short story, no more than ten chapters or 25K in word count. Davina would meet 3D, help with their English lessons and then eventually return to the pace of her life. Slight Shin/OC but no explicit pairing or additional story arcs besides the English exam in drama ep four. The story grew into something different and while it evolved into a larger endeavor I feel lucky to have something I enjoy writing so much. Thank you to those who have reviewed and read CTD throughout the years!

July 3rd 2018: I am going back and taking a huge axe to CTD. It is so overlong and could do some with trimming. I've also decided to simplify the plot and focus on Shin/Davina and move away from side plots so I can finish the story in 20k words rather than 500k more.

November 11th, 2013: CTD has been edited. Small stuff like grammar, moderate stuff like plot tweaking, and big stuff like the extent of Shin/Davina’s relationship. With careful consideration, I’ve edited the plot from chapter 14 and taken their relationship down a notch back. Not a light undertaking. I’ve been thinking hard about this for a long time and even while editing I changed my mind about a dozen times… Some comments about chapter 14 rang deeply with my own doubts so the decision making is all my impetus.

April 5th, 2009: Look there, I haven't stopped writing. I'm currently experimenting with Gokusen. I had an idea. I tried not to write. At least this weekend with my busy schedule, but I started reading some of the fanfics in Gokusen and couldn't get over the urge to post one. I should be working on my term papers instead...
