I hate writing profiles, but I hate empty space even more, so I will take a stab at it. I warn you, this will likely ramble and bore you to sleep. Fellow insomniacs, read on. Everyone else, continue at your own risk.

I have been writing since I was about twelve or thirteen, which I realize now, having just turned twenty, wasn't really that long ago. I've managed to keep almost every story I've ever written, and I like to look back and laugh at my adolescent ramblings about supernatural revenge schemes and dreams of adult life from time to time. I have a feeling that the fanfics I post here will provide much entertainment to me in the future.

I am soon to be an English major, but I'm currently studying psychology while I work my butt off to make enough money for college. I have studied music and was once very serious about being a rock star (never one for small dreams), and I one day plan to study medicine, though that may become another fleeting fancy in the years to come. As one friend of mine likes to say, I am a perpetual student. Always eager to learn something.

I'm incredibly cynical and a pessimistic, not entirely uncommon in this day and age. I’m also rather anti-social and oftentimes apathetic, but I'm working hard to change that. Really. I have two sisters, both of whom are intolerably normal teenagers, by today’s standards, and one cat I like call George Lucifer, Feline Hellspawn. He and I have been feuding since he arrived some three years ago. He truly is evil, but I love him anyway.

My favorite TV shows include: Supernatural, Dexter, Angel, Heroes, House, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a few seasons of Charmed, and the early seasons of Smallville. My favorite authors include: Anne Rice, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, and Jeff Lindsay. I’ll read and watch anything that has to do with vampires, even if it’s complete crap (I can’t get enough of vamps. Just love ‘em!). I’m an audiophile, and I’m always downloading new music (my current playlist holds enough music to listen non-stop for eight full days. I really love music). I love to dye my hair funky colors, but I haven’t been able to afford to in a while (sniffles).

While I attended high school I went through geek, punk, and goth phases. I’m told that I’m an odd mix of all three now, which is fine with me.

My pen name, for those of you who are curious, is a combination of how I wrote my name (Aili) for people that couldn't pronounce it (Eye-ly... easy, right?), and my nickname (if one can really call it a "nickname". It's only my name, ended in O. A lack of imagination on someone's part. But it’s a hell of a lot better, and internet friendly, than the names I’ve been called since.)

Stalker types: I’m close to six feet tall and have been known to throw down when I feel threatened. I’m talking bone breaking fights, people. I say this in warning: don’t harass me. It won’t end well for either of us.
