Share the Love Contest

Love means different things to different people. Sometimes it happens between a man and a woman, two men, or even two women. We at the Share the Love Contest believe that love doesn’t have to be restricted to two people alone. That’s right--we are hosting a Poly fan fic contest! Bring us your threesomes or foursomes, slash or bisexual, AH or AU. Hell, we’d love a Pack pile-up and a Vamp group marriage. Use you imagination and Share the Love!

Requirements/Rules

Forms of polyamory include:

✦ Polyfidelity, which involves multiple romantic relationships with sexual contact restricted to only specific partners in the group (group marriage).

✦ Sub-relationships, which distinguish between "primary" and "secondary" relationships (open marriage).

✦ Three people romantically involved (commonly initiated by an established couple jointly dating a third person).

✦ Relationships between a couple and another couple (Quad).

✦ Polygamy (polygyny and polyandry), in which one personmarriesseveral spouses (who may or may not have romantic relationships with one another).

✦ Group relationships, sometimes referred to as tribes.

✦ Mono/poly relationships, where one partner is monogamous but agrees to the other having outside relationships.

We want (at least) three people actively involved in a sexual relationship with each other. To be clear, while this can be a story about a couple having a one time fling with a friend or stranger, the MAIN FOCUS of the story must be on all characters! We aren’t interested in a story where the third is a faceless throwaway character that takes a back seat in the story to the couple. We want to see (at least) three main characters of this story that are involved in a sexual relationship with each other. Dig deep and show us the beauty and balance possible in a triangle, quad, etc.

Your story may end with a couple. HOWEVER, you must not diminish the third (or fourth) characters in coming to that conclusion. We want to know how the story ends for all characters involved.

Sex
Sex is also important and a requirement. We’ll say that again to be clear: THERE MUST BE SEX IN THE STORY FOR IT TO QUALIFY AS AN ENTRY! Lovers of foreplay and masturbation do not despair. We consider sex to be oral, manual (fingers or hands), solo (masturbation), and good ol’ penetration (vaginal or anal). So bring on your teasing, voyeurism and manual masturbation scenes. We are equal opportunity H00rs.

Genre and Match-Ups
Entries set in either a Alternate Universe and All Human genre are gladly accepted. As is any combination of genders: M/M/F, F/F/M, F/F/F or M/M/M. As well as any supernatural creature or human combination: Vamp/Wolf/Vamp, Wolf/Wolf/Vamp, Wolf/Wolf/Wolf, Vamp/Vamp/Vamp, Human/Wolf/Vamp, Human/Human/Vamp, etc.

Word Count
3,000 - 10,000 (No exceptions) We’re not looking for drabbles. We are looking for a cohesive story. If your story exceeds 10,000 words, we will ask you to pare it down. If you choose not to, we will be glad to add your story to the C2 AFTER the contest closes, but it will not be eligible as a contest entry.

New Stories ONLY
All stories must be new one shots that can stand alone. No outtakes or continuations of existing stories. Authors are free to continue their stories after the contest closes.

Quality
All entries must be beta’d. The hosts reserve the right to disqualify entries that have excessive errors.

Quantity

There is no limits on entires. Write as many as you want. Collaborate with friends. Go crazy. We want as many poly fics as we can get.

Content
No rape (this includes non-consensual or questionably consensual sex), bestiality and pedophilia.

Pimpage
Feel free to pimp your story all over the internet, because there will not be a public vote. The main goal of this contest is to get as many people writing poly relationship fics as possible. So the more pimping the better. We like to view this as a big poly lovers party and everyone’s invited to join.

Post your story to your FFnet account and then send an email to sharethelovecontest@gmail.com, include the header below, along with a link to your fic. Someone will contact you within 48hrs to let you know if your entry qualified.
Qualifying entries will be added to the Share the Love Contest C2.
