Yo. I’m not much into letting everyone on the net know about me, so let’s just say my name says most of what you’ll get from me here. If I like your story, I will review it. If I don’t like your story, you’ll never know I read it, because I’m not into bashing people. Don’t get offended if I correct your grammar or plot points, because I’m only doing it to help you. Feel free to tell me to shove it if you don’t like it, and I’ll make a note not to review your stuff. I may offer to be a beta reader to some of you, if I think your stories are too good to be ruined by your bad grammar. I’m mostly here for the anime/manga section, and I just made an account because I found myself frequently reviewing things under this name anyway—I might as well give people a way to ask me about my reviews or tell me to stop. That’s pretty much it, I think. Biggest pet peeves: --Two, to, and too; two=2 to as in “to go to the store” too as in “it’s too much” --There, their, and they’re; there as opposed to “here” their as in “their stuff” they’re as in “they are” --It’s and its “It’s” is a contraction of “it is.” It does not denote ownership. I know it’s weird, but ownership is still just “its” to accompany “his” or “hers,” which you’ll notice also do not require apostrophes. --Random separation lines. DO NOT PUT THEM IN WHILE USING MICROSOFT WORD, as it is very difficult to move them and, especially, to delete them. Both fanfiction. net and fictionpress.com have handy-dandy little "add line" buttons in their type boxes, so if you skip a space, or leave yourself a little note, you can put them in when you submit a chapter. |
