I was introduced to "LesFic" years ago by my cousin. I was hooked. I found authors who were funny, mysterious, adventurous, sweet, and crazy, and whose only difference between their works and "popular" fiction was their protagonists where lesbians. After reading a few lesbian romances downloaded to my Kindle, I was curios as to why in 80% of the stories I read, one woman was tall, dark and dangerous and paired with a short, blonde, talkative, adorable woman... Finally it was explained to me where that template came from. Ever since then I've been hooked on fan fiction dealing with: Xena and Gabrielle (the Originals!), SVU: Alex and Olivia, Alex and Casey, Alex and Liz, Olivia and Casey, (apparently I really like Alex Cabot), Criminal Minds with JJ and Emily, and of course, the one show built specifically for fan fiction innuendos: Rizzoli & Ilses. (Seriously, can that show be any more obvious that Jane and Maura are destined to be soul-mate lovers forever?)
