Supernatural- DeanxSam (The only pairing I like in this series. I love no romance usually-gen-, but I really love how the two interact, even if they're brothers. And their lives are already so 'unusual' that they should be able to have comfort in each other. Though I don't think that any love they have for anyone else would ever come above the love and devotion they feel for each other, even if it's not sexual).

Pairings I HATE that I come across a lot (they are okay, but only if its a side pairing, not the focus):

HarryXGinny- I just don't like it, period. And I NEVER will. Damn the epilogue of book 7!-without it we could assume they don't stay together. So I ignore it...

SiriusXRemus- I'm not interested in reading about them.

HieiXKurama- It's too weird for me!

KuwabaraXanyone- I think Kuwabara does deserve someone (Yukina?) but I don't like to read about it.

RonXHermione-I think the pairing is okay, but it just doesn't interest me to read. And I really don't like Ron much.

KakashiXIruka- I just don't like reading it. But its a side paring in many stories I read and its cute, I just can't read stories that are about them specifically, and I skip the intimate parts if there are any.

InuyashaXKikyo- Kikyo is dead, she is now a vengeful clay shell, she is not who she once was, Inuyasha has to accept that. And if it was so easy for Naraku to trick them into thinking they betrayed each other, they obviously didn't really love each other, they were just lonely and took comfort in someone they saw that had similar lonely lives. And sure if the jewel did work and Naraku never existed, I'm sure a human Inuyasha and Kikyo would have had a happy life together, but it wasn't true love.

FemSasukeXNaruto or FemNarutoXSasuke- I absolutely hate these. Rarely, if I find a good story where one of them somehow turns into a girl and is still in character(and hopefully turns back into a boy) I will read it. I also don't read those, OMG Naruto was really a girl all this time! stories either; except once I think I found one where he/she was totally IC.

I don't really like yuri(girlxgirl) at all.

Controversial Issues:

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...

My Book Pick For You

Anything by Christopher Moore! He is an awesome writer. The books are all adult humour, some of it is disturbing, but it's worth it. I think he has 10 books so far, and I've read all but 3 or 4 of them. It's not a series, but some of the books have the same characters so the stories are a bit interwoven. By far my favorite is "Lamb", with "A Dirty Job" as a close second. You can find them in the Literature section of Borders, or at least that's where I found my copies.
