Poll: After completing "When Ice Meets Fire, When the Ground Meets the Sky," which idea would you like me to pursue for the next FanFiction I write? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 4 stories for Rise of the Guardians, How to Train Your Dragon, and Homestuck. Hello everyone, Peppered Potato here. If you happen to have any curiosity about me, my life, or my FanFictions, go ahead and read on. And as always, feel free to email or PM me whenever you'd like. Also, this profile picture is not mine and the artist deserves full credit. Contact information: email address: pepperedpotato@gmail.com tumblr: pepperedpotato.tumblr.com flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/99018051@N07/ I figured it's high time I simplify my profile a bit, because it got much too long and much too cluttered. So here it is. I won't be posting any personal information like my name, date of birth, or area of residence for privacy. Basic Information Gender: FtM; in other words, I'm transgender. So I would kindly ask that anyone who refers to any of my works or mentions me in third person to use male pronouns. I also identify as male, so don't call me a girl. If this is against your beliefs, either ignore this fact or leave without spewing flames from your mouth. Location: I'm sure the locator will tell you I'm in the United States unless I'm on vacation. Then I'd probably be in Japan or Canada. Appearance: I'm half-Japanese and half-African American, so I don't exactly fit in with the average human binary, though the number of mixed race people is rising in America at a rate that will soon overtake Caucasians. I have black hair that's always kept shorter than my chin, which is quite thick and wavy and gets easily uncontrollable. My skin varies from season-to-season, but it's usually a shade I consider milk chocolate. I also have eyes that are so dark people often think they're black; in all actuality, they are a very dark brown. Likes and Dislikes: I love traveling, learning foreign languages, eating, and writing. I like reading good stories and taking long walks in nature away from society. My favorite activity occurs during the winter months: being curled up in a blanket with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. Favorite Books: the classics, especially Russian literature Music: a wide variety of classical, alternative, and rock that I will not delve further into Hobbies: hiking, writing, photography, swimming, singing and dancing along to some wild music alone in my room where no one can judge me, watching hockey games with my family, traveling to foreign countries, learning foreign languages, and eating foreign food Language Fluency: I admit, I can only read, write, and speak fluently in American-standard English. I can carry conversations in Japanese, but sometimes things come out a bit strange. My reading level is dismal at best. I have two year of experience in Chinese and French, one year in Russian, and am self-taught in Spanish, Swedish, and Icelandic. However, all are of elementary levels and the last two of very poor fluency. It is my goal to someday learn all of these to at least an advances level. Strange Addiction: Anything Scandinavia. It makes no sense, but I have wanted to go to Sweden for virtually unknown reasons since the age of thirteen. I have attempted each Scandinavian language at least a month apiece since then. It is my lifetime goal to learn at least some conversational Swedish and travel there. Movies: Anything by Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, How to Train Your Dragon (and much of Dreamwork's works), and Wall-E (and much of Disney's and Pixar's works as well). Both of the new Star Trek movies do hold a special place in my interests, so I will note them as well, as well as The Lord of the Rings. Television Shows: I haven't been watching much TV lately, but I do still watch The Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones, and several British shows; the three I follow most closely are Merlin, Sherlock, and Endeavour. Recently I've gotten into Almost Human and Sleepy Hollow. My Writing and Personal Projects FanFiction: Living A Miracle - A new project with probably infrequent updates. This is a Homestuck (Humanstuck, Schoolstuck) FanFiction about Tavros, mostly. It begins with him being saved off the streets and taken in by Gamzee. A coming-of-age, as well as a coming-out-of-the-shell, fic. I'm really writing this to capture the final feelings of high school before I graduate. When Ice Meets Fire, When the Ground Meets the Sky- This is the only FanFiction I am currently working on in full (a RotG/HTTYD crossover) and plan not to start any new projects in either fandom until its completion. However, I have several ideas in mind and will be holding a poll to vote for the next one in the coming months. On temporary hiatus due to writer's block; I'm sorry guys :( There is a poll for which story you as a reader would like me to write once this project is complete. Vote now! In case you guys don't know, my fandom of choice is How to Train Your Dragon. It's been so since the first movie came out, and it probably shall remain so for quite some time. Though I'll admit I've recently gotten into the Homestuck fandom as well. |
