Author has written 2 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean. You don't know me. Heck, I don't even know me, my mind is an enigma! ahem At the present moment, I am terribly new to the lovely FanFiction.net, but I'm slowly trekking along. Slowly... But Bonjourno, everyone, I'm Annebelle Kare. Quite obviously not my REAL name, more of a pen name, if you will, but it works for me. I love my real name, but this would be a close third, right behind Nadia. Anyways, I am a very spontaneous person who really enjoys finding the humour in life. And I spell things as if I were Canadian; I love Canada. But let's keep this organized, shall we? My unhealthy obsessions include the following: 1. My husband, being my Cello... even though it's actually a girl-cello... I'm not legally married to my cello, but perhaps one day... possibly. 2. Vampires. They're just so... FASCINATING. You try being dead and alive at the same time and drinking blood to survive! I also know a lot of really interesting ways to kill vampires, instead of just the crucifix, sunlight, stake thing. For instance: Vampires are quite OCD in a way. If you spill a bowl of rice in front of them, they must pick up every little grain one at a time and put them back into the bowl (counting, too!). If you do this at night, they could be at it all night, thus they'd still be at it as the sun comes up. And what happens to vampires in the sun? Fizzle fizzle. Another one of my favorites: If you steal the left sock of a vampire, they will go to any lengths to get it back (OCD and all). Throw the sock into a lake? The vampire must get it. Vampires+water= ...dead vampire. Included in this obsession is Vlad Tepes. 3. Geoffrey Rush. Most the teen female population would probably know him as "evil icky Captain Barbossa who is so not as cool as Johnny Depp". ...I disagree completely. While I am a Depp fan, I'm an even bigger Rush fan; just behind Sean Connery, he is one of the sexiest men alive. If I could stalk anyone, it would indeed be Geoffrey Rush. Plus, he and I have something in common: In our earlier (...ok, so for me, it's later, but one day will be earlier!) acting days, we were both Snoopy in stage productions of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". Currently, I am cheating on my cello with his roles of Javert, my lawyer, and Casanova Frankenstein, my disco instructor. He's a yummy man... 4. Dragonflies. About a year ago, a dragonfly landed on my thumb when I was out by a rose bush and kind of down (2005 was not a good year...). It just came and landed on my thumb for no reason as if to say... "There is hope in life yet". I believe that to be a sign and forevermore devote myself to be an avid Dragonfly lover. Mind you, these are only four of my obsessions. I have several others, but these four I can rant about for hours. Minor Did-You-Knows on Annebelle Kare: 1. She collects dolls 2. She also collects costumes of the Renaissance period and whatnot (Halloween is definitely NOT the only time of year I dress up) 3. Toulouse-Lautrec is one of her heroes. 4. Mention Rasputina, The Dresden Dolls, or The Mars Volta, and she will go off on a happy rant. 5. Her average height is 5' 1.5" And might I say, I am proud of that 1.5 inch. I have a sadistically lethargic cat named Napoleon. He keeps me well entertained for just about everything. I adore that feline so very much. Annebelle Kare's Must Read Book List: 1. Les Misérables- Victor Hugo (the UNABBRIDGED version; took me a year) 2. The entire Lord of the Rings trilogy- JRR Tolkien (This includes The Hobbit) 3. The Hunchback of Notre Dame- Victor Hugo (so not the Disney version, man!) 4. The Vampire Chronicles- Anne Rice 5. It- Stephen King 6. The Historian- Elizabeth Kostova 7. Twelfth Night- William Shakespeare 8. 'Salem's Lot- Stephen King 9. Le Petit Prince- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (My French teacher met this author's wife's secretary. She was freaking out!) 10. V for Vendetta- Alan Moore (an amazing graphic novel) I've had a reading fettish my whole life and this could never cover the amount of amazingness compressed into pages and ink. More will probably be added in the future, but for now, I guess this will do. I also have reasons to believe that in the past life, I was an Italian man. P.S See the movie "La Vitta é Bella". It is probably the perfect movie in the whole world. But watch it in Italian, its true language! Much love, ~A.K |
