![]() Author has written 4 stories for Detective Conan/Case Closed. "You never know what you have until you've lost it..." I'm a writer because I was discontented...with my life...with the world...with everything...I just wanted to escape reality...and writing is my way out... Destiny...how many times I've heard this word...still I don't believe in it. I believe that destiny, fate, kismet or whatever you call it is most human's way out so that they won't have to take responsibility for their actions. Blaming fate for things that happen to you is cowardly. It's the easy way out. Face it, the only real thing is coincidence. Stop blaming an unknown force. Only in sadness would you realize how nice it is to feel happiness. Only in failure would you realize how great success is. Only in defeat would you learn to strive for victory. Only in the presence of hatred would you learn to appreciate love. If I were to choose between being the hero or the villain, I would chose to be the villain. Why? Because the villain has nothing to lose but everything to gain. The hero, on the other hand, has everything to lose but nothing to gain...you see, he would only be returning to his old life before the villain appeared...so, he did not actually gain anything...the happiness and freedom were only recovered...not, technically, gained. So, it's like he only broke even...BUT, along the way of "victory" he would have lost something...in short, he loses either way. Why so "dark"? Because I don't think I can stand losing anymore than I already did... As you see, my four paragraphs and not connected...shows how random I am...heh My favorite quotes from books... "Any truth is better than indefinite doubt."~~Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle "As a rule, the more bizarre a thing is the less mysterious it proves to be. It is your commonplace, featureless crimes which are really puzzling, just as a commonplace face is the most difficult to identify."~~Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle "How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?"~~Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle "All for one, one for all."~~Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas "As a general rule, people ask for advice only in order not to follow it; or, if they do follow it, in order to have someone to blame for giving it."~~Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas "Until the day when God shall deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words: Wait and hope!"~~The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas "Only a man that has felt ultimate despair is capable of feeling ultimate bliss."~~The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas “Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses. You build up a whole armor, for years, so nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...you give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' or 'how very perceptive' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. Nothing should be able to do that. Especially not love. I hate love.”~~The Sandman, Neil Gaiman "He loved Arthur and he loved Guenever and he hated himself. The best knight in the world; everybody envied the self-esteem which must surely be his. But Lancelot never believed he was good or nice. Under the grotesque, magnificent shell with a face like Quasimodo’s, there was shame and self-loathing which had been planted there when he was tiny, by something which is now too late to trace. It is so fatally easy to make young children believe that they are horrible."~~The Once and Future King - The Ill Made Knight, T.H. White "They thought that they understood each other once more -- but their doubt had been planted. Now, in their love, which was stronger, there were the seeds of hatred and fear and confusion growing at the same time: for love can exist with hatred, each preying on the other, and this is what gives it its greatest fury."~~The Once and Future King - The Ill Made Knight, T.H. White "Am I meant to know but not to seek? Did you know how hard I’d find that? Is that why you made it this difficult? So I’d have time to work that out?"~~Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling “Would I?” asked Dumbledore heavily. “I am not so sure. I had proven, as a very young man, that power was my weakness and my temptation. It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well."~~Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling "It was, he thought, the difference between being dragged into the arena to face a battle to the death and walking into the arena with your head held high. Some people, perhaps, would say that there was little to choose between the two ways, but Dumbledore knew — and so do I, thought Harry, with a rush of fierce pride, and so did my parents — that there was all the difference in the world."~~Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, J.K. Rowling "You don’t understand — there are things worth dying for!”~~Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, J.K. Rowling "Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort."~~Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling "If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”~~Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling "You should have died! Died rather than betray your friends, as we would have done for you!"~~Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, J.K. Rowling "If you made a better rat than a human, that's not much to boast about."~~Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, J.K. Rowling "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”~~Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, J.K. Rowling "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."~~Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, J.K. Rowling Other Quotes "Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much."~~Oscar Wilde "Hatred is blind, as well as love."~~Oscar Wilde "The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple."~~Oscar Wilde "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear."~~Mark Twain Location: Philippines Fave Cartoons: Baby Looney Tunes, Teen Titans and Fairly Odd Parents Fave Animes/Manga: DETECTIVE CONAN, Magic Kaito, Digimon, Fruit Basket, Saiyuki Trilogy, Slam Dunk, Shaman King, Shokugeki no Soma and so much more...
