Hatake Kakashi was a shinobi, and as a shinobi, the only people who could give him orders were his military superiors. The idea that a Council made up of civilians and peers was under the impression they could give him orders...displeased him. Or: He was ordered to pass Team 7. He was fine with that, until they actually passed.

Kakashi comes home from a mission and finds his apartment already occupied. Or: Kakashi doesn't know how to take care of himself. Luckily, his team is there to pick up the slack.

Naruto had his life figured out young, until he got divorced, lost his job and his place. He cursed love and happiness, since they obviously couldn't be his. Years later, at his boring job, he meets Sasuke, a real jerk who sits next to him at the district wide meetings. Turns out Sasuke's just an anxious wreck with the ability to turn Naruto's life, and frown, upside down. NARUSASU

This takes place at the end of manga chapter 499, when Sasuke gets ready to leave on his years long mission. Instead of letting him go alone, Naruto decides to go with him and help him fix the broken world of shinobi. Can be read as either possible romance or just friendship.
