PERSONAL PROFILE Introduction of a paranoid person— Hello! Lol. Typical me. Well, sorry to disappoint you, but unlike many people in this fan fiction community, I am not much of a talented writer. However, I am a ‘very much’-dedicated critic. Anyhow, I’m finding that a lot of the writing I’ve read are very well done. However, I just want to point out three writers in particular. Well, unlike many others, to me, their writing just stood out. They have their own unique styles of writing, which involves humor, drama, (which leads to romance) unexpecting twists, and most of all, tinges of suspense to boot. Anyways, I enjoy reading these stories as much as the guy in the next door. (And believe me, he’s nuts about it! J) Feel free to check out my favorite authors and you can find out first hand. Anyhow, Besides being a total inconsiderate detractor…I also a few pointers. So... listen up! Or else. Well I’ll still be heard anyways..so..whatever. Besides, this is advice! Tips on writing— Writing is a style of illusionary arts. Conversely, uniqueness is also required. In some writings, I’m happy to see that progress are being made, but they often begin too fast and the chapters are rather short to paint a clear picture or create a dramatic entrance into the reader’s mind. So, my advice to you is, if you are (prepare for criticism) if you are not that prepared (because to me...not many of you seem like you are.) read some more works written by others before writing your own. This way, not only will you make your creations expressive, but you will also learn a thing or two. (Not to mention—less chance of writer’s block!) Second, even though this style of writing- fan fiction- is considered fictional, some works I’ve seen are somewhat/rather- too fictitious. When you are creating, put in more thoughts and put up reference along the lines of real life, that way, it would seem more of a live situation than just a work of fantasies. Next, do not, whatever you do, do not spill your guts over one chapter. Leave some suspense to keep the reader hanging. If the plot you came up with is not ‘the most interesting thing in the world’, progressing too fast is not the best thing to do. Take it slowly, and suspense will help jazz things up a bit. (Jot notes first- I know- Very lame. Still, it’s an oldie but a goodie. trust me. It will avoid writer’s block later on) Last but not least, try to involve all essence of writing- Creativity, irony, tragedy/horror, humor, twists of events, suspense, and clarity. (Grammatical errors and wording.) So when you are busy thinking of more sentences, also make sure they are expressive yet not too wordy. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING— Always have with you a dictionary and a thesaurus! A LITTLE ABOUT ME— A big anime fan. I mean who isn’t! Everyone’s got to be like this one point in their lives. Now a days, I’m pretty much into everything. What can I say? Who isn’t ! Reason for existence! Back to reality, I’m a huge fan of cryptology. I love cracking stuff, (not the really literal way) and you could call me a hacker. J Basically, 90 of my thoughts are cryptological…really. Hobbies-- Anime. Heh. You could say that I’m a huge fan any anime show. Right now, the shows that I like are Naruto, Inuyasha, fullmetal alchemist, case closed, and a whole lot more. (It will take up pages!) (This substance is more addicting than drugs!) Computers, Photoshop CS, Arts~ Dance, guitar, drawing, bass, violin, drums. Basically I’m in a whole music thing. Oh yeah…I’m starting a band…anyone interested in playing bass guitar, drums or want to sing? E-mail me! J Total sports fan~ Badminton, tennis, swimming, cross country, lacross, you name it! Movie specialist~ Fav—Titanic, Coach Carter, Da Vinci Code, Dirty Rotten Scoundrals, Mission Impossibe 3, Jessie James, Princess Diaries 3, Lord of the Rings, Dark Water, Scary Movie 1 to 4, Sky High, Series of Unfortunate Events, Hoodwinked, The Fog, The Grudge, Mr&Mrs Smith...My fav movies are either tres tragic or just downright halarious!
