Living in the UK, not too far from The Burrow, I loved the Harry Potter books until we reached the scene in Deathly Hallows with Fred, Percy and the wall, at which point I put it away for several days before I could bear to finish it. My kids were equally devastated, so we added a Chapter 38 of our own (in our heads ... I'll type it out one day) in which Fred was brought back and then, years later, I accidentally discovered there were loads of other people who felt the same way, hooray!

Now having read and enjoyed lots of other people's stories, I'm attempting to return the favour by writing a few of my own. I have a very narrow range though lol: Fred lives, and generally ends up with Hermione, because she deserves to have fun and a happy relationship, and she'd be more likely to get both of those with Fred than Ron. In my humble fairy opinion.

I'm also on AO3, same username. Everything I do gets posted on both sites, though Fremione and the Weasleys is a series on AO3 :-)
