When Christine turns the Scorpion, her life is forever changed. Bound by the vows she makes before God, she struggles to embrace the life she has chosen, and learns that Erik is not the only monster in the world. E/C, Leroux.

The trap was set: all the doors were closed and gendarmes stood at every corner. But things rarely happen as they are planned.

At the end of the Final lair Christine convinces a reluctant Raoul to help save the Phantom from the mob and escape Paris. They flee to Normandy. When they arrive, Christine helps Erik to face his own dark past so he might have a brighter future, possibly with Christine at his side. I do not the Phantom or any other Kay, Leroux or ALW character. It is mainly Kay and ALW.

A year after 'that night', a painfully shy, but naturally gifted girl arrives at the opera to join the chorus. Even a still hurting Erik can't stand by and let her potential go to waste. But as he tries to coax Ella out of her shell, can she help him out of his? Will something more begin to blossom or is this one flower that will never bloom? E/OC

In Susan Kay's novel "Phantom" Erik tells Christine the story of the Rose who loved a Nightingale. Kay tells us that Christine went to bed after the story. I'd like to believe something else may have happened, which would have changed the whole story.
