Star Wars fics that will be coming your way soon. It's my series that I'm titling What a Difference. Each story will have What a Difference as a title in them. Series summary: A dream causes Anakin to question everything he's done since his mother died. But how does it change the lives of the Skywalker twins and their parents? How does it change the fate of the galaxy in general?

All summaries here are subject to change as I expand on the stories. These are just what my outline says will happen.

Book 1: What a Difference a Dream Makes (Release Date: TBA. Update Day: TBA.) Summary: Right before RotS, Anakin Skywalker has a dream. The young woman (who looks like his wife) and the young man (who looks like him) caution him and gives him advice, warning him that the future was worse than what he had ever expected it. How will this affect the galaxy and its fate? Takes place during RotS.

Book 2: What a Difference an Empire Makes (Release Date: TBA. Update Day: TBA.)Summary: Palpatine took over despite Anakin, Ahsoka, Padmé, Obi-Wan, Mace and Yoda's best efforts to stop him. With the Jedi all but destroyed, the Skywalker twins are the Jedi's only hope. Split up and separated from the parents, the twins must grow up with their parents best friends. How will the Empire handle "Vader" l"looking" for the missing Jedi and Anakin and Padmé's best friends raising their children? Takes place between RotS and ANH.

Book 3: What a Difference Two Skywalkers Make (Release Date: TBA. Update Day: TBA.)Summary: Anakin is a leader of the Rebellion, working on the inside of the Empire, recruiting the Alliance-sympathizers in the Empire on his Flagship, including Firmus Piett. He hasn't seen his daughter in person ever (except as Kreig Edgewood, Alliance Leader), and it has been at least 15 years since he has seen his son. Leia is a Senator in the Imperial Senate. Padmé is a handmaiden to her niece in the Senate. And Luke? Luke is still torturing his Uncle Obi-Wan on Tatooine. Will the Death Star survive four Skywalkers, Ahsoka, Mace, Yoda and Obi-Wan planning its demise?

Book 4: What a Difference a Rebellion Makes (Release Date: TBA. Update Day: TBA.)Anakin, still posing as Darth Vader, is trying to hide his children (who still don't know they are siblings), his wife and his best friends from his "Master" Sidious. When Imperial Intelligence learns about the Rebel outcropping on Hoth, Anakin warns the Alliance of their approach. How will this change everything? How will Obi-Wan, Yoda and Mace train Luke without the other stubborn Skywalkers by their side? How is Ahsoka going to deal with the budding romance between her "little sister"/charge and Han Solo? How will Padmé deal with helping the Rebellion by being the hidden leader?

Book 5: What a Difference a Few Jedi Make (Release Date: TBA. Update Day: TBA.)Obi-Wan, Mace, and Yoda join the Alliance on Endor while Luke, Leia, Padmé, Chewie, Lando, and the droids free Han from Jabba the Hutt. Luke is adjusting to finding his mother alive, and that his father is Darth Vader. When his mother says that he has a sister, Luke knows it's Leia. As the Skywalker twins continue their training with the Jedi Masters and Ahsoka, Anakin finds out that the Emperor plans to kill him. Will Sidious succeed? Or will the twins and the Jedi intervene before that?

Book one will focus more on Anakin and Obi-Wan's relationship, with a little bit of Ahsoka's and Padmé's thrown in. Main characters: Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padmé, and Ahsoka. Secondary: Yoda, Mace, Jedi, Sidious, Organa's, and unborn Skywalker(s).

Book two will focus on Leia growing up with the Organa's, Luke growing up with Obi-Wan, Anakin posing as Darth Vader, and Padmé working for the new Queen of Naboo under a fake name, along with the growing rebellion. No real relationships past a little AP. Main characters: Luke, Leia, Anakin, Padmé, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. Minor: Yoda, Mace, Sidious.

Book three will focus on Anakin's roll in the empire, along with Luke and Obi-Wan leaving to help the rebellion. It will follow ANH closely, but not all that closely. Main characters: Luke, Leia, Anakin, Ahsoka, Han. Minor: Yoda, Mace, Padmé, Tarkin, and Obi-Wan.

Book four will focus on Obi-Wan, Yoda, Mace, and Anakin (to some extent) training Luke on Dagobah. Also, Han and Leia are captured by "Vader" and Sidious to lure Luke into a trap and will focus on the growing relationship (albeit a strained one) between Anakin and Leia, Han and Leia, Padmé and Leia, Luke and Padmé, and Luke and Anakin. The twins will learn the truth about their parents. Main characters: Luke, Leia, Anakin, Padmé, Ahsoka, Han, Obi-Wan. Minor: Yoda, Mace, Sidious.

Book five will focus on Luke and Anakin working together through the Force to try and bring down the Emperor. Padmé and Leia are bonding as mother and daughter, Han is falling more in love with Leia and Leia loves him. With the second Death Star in production, the need to focus on the Rebellion. Main characters: Luke, Leia, Anakin, Padmé, Ahsoka, Han, Obi-Wan, Sidious. Minor: Yoda, Mace, Jabba, Alliance.
