Author has written 31 stories for Friends, and Harry Potter. Hello, I am a sixteen-year-old girl living in Manhattan, who is currently unsure if she’s spelled ‘Manhattan’ right, which is…worrisome. So, I cannot spell, I was under the impression that I had a good if not excellent vocabulary for my age until I came here, and…I obsess over things. It’s in my nature. I’m a very critical person, so if I like something I usually love it, and if I don’t like something I usually hate it with a passion, and have to manfully (womanfully?) resist the urge to write a scathing review. Even if it’s something like a song, or a…muffin. I love music, movies, and books. A lot (a lot a lot). My favorite actors/actresses are: Anthony Rapp (he is both a theater and film actor, and is also a beautiful singer), Matthew Perry, D'Monroe (another theater actor/singer), Matt Caplan (yet another Broadway boy), Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Johnny Depp, Rosario Dawson, Raul Esperza, Lisa Kudrow, Adam Goldberg, Rory Cochrane, Renee Zellweger. And now, since I talk entirely too much, here are some quotes to leave you with: “…Me? I’m here. Nowhere.” ~Mark Cohen (Rent- stage play) “Playing Anne Frank with your landlord? Better have some Stoli!” ~Tom Collins (RENT, NYTW version) “She was in the process of becoming a caricature of herself.” ~White Oleander by Janet Fitch “After watching the original Thin Man, he said, ‘You’re like Nora; I’m like Nick. We’re like Bogart and Bacall. Like Hepburn and Tracy.’ I said, ‘More like Mr. Wilson and Dennis the Menace.’” ~The Girls’ Guide to Hunting and Fishing, by Melissa Bank “Your star is due for shooting, and I’ll be watching the night sky- in hopes that soon what binds us will come untied.” ~ Anthony Rapp, “Room to Breathe” (I’m not sure if he himself wrote the song, but I like to think he did because the lyrics are beautiful) “When beggars die there are no comets seen; the heavens themselves blaze forth the death of princes.” ~ Calphurnia (“Julius Caesar”, by William Shakespeare) "Not everyone has a sob story...and even if they do, it's no excuse.” ~The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky “The good news is that you may have created my past and screwed up my present but you have no control over my future.” ~You Don't Know Me, by David Klass |
