Hello, I guess I should tell you a bit about myself then? Well, I love to read and write and when people call it a hobby I always like to explain that it's more like a passion. I love being able to open up a book and get lost in a whole new world that will take me away from the one I live in. Stories are an escape for me though they haven't always been; growing up in elementary school I absolutely hated reading or writing. I'd rather be outside running around and scrapping up my knees; but in the fifth grade I was encouraged to read the Harry Potter series and from then I have become hooked. Though at first reading began to make problems for me at school; as I would choose to read a book instead of do any work but I eventually grew out of that. I started my freshman year of high school at an alternative school and because so many people have judged me by that I'm going to explain that no; I am not a drug addict, I am not in a gang, I was not expelled from another school and I do not have a criminal record. No, I decided to go to this alternative high school because the teacher student ratio was about 1:12 and I was able to really connect with people and get the help I needed. My school has helped me make the first ever 'real' friends I've ever had; the kind of friends who will stick with you through the toughest of things no matter what. Now, I'm about to start my senior year in about three days and a part of me is dreading that soon it's going to be over and I'll have to leave. I've connected with the staff there and we're all so close it's like a second home; one that is just as chaotic as the first but supportive none the less. Fanfiction is a coping mechanism for me; it helps me calm down when I've become to stressed or anxious and sometimes you just need a really good story to pull you out of the pit of depression. I come on this site all the time to read all the wonderful stories on here and I have always wanted to publish something of my own and have only recently gotten the courage to share my writing with a family member of mine; the first time I have ever shared my writing! Honestly I love many fandoms and I'm sure i'm missing a few up there but those are just some that I could think of on the top of my head; I really enjoy when there is an OC because sometimes a great thing to see is how other writers on the site write a character; I really enjoy character development when it's done right and it's always amazing to find such a greatly written story. Because I'm running out of things so say I guess I can just say some of my favorite things; my favorite animal is a Koala, my favorite color is a dark green.
