Author has written 1 story for Six of Crows.

Hi!

So, my name is Claudia. (Pronounced like claw-dee-ah, in case you're wondering. My french teacher always called me cloud-ee-a). I'm fifteen, English, with light blonde hair and blue eyes. I am small, at 5 foot 4, which actually is an advantage when I spar with the grown men at the martial art I do. (Although they do go easy on me).

I guess now I'll just tell you more about myself, because that's what most other people seem to have done, and then I'll get on with writing fanfics like the over-excited fangirl I am.

I love art and painting, although I'm not very good at all, and reading is like therapy for me, as I think it is with most people. It's helped me through several tough times in my life. The martial art I do is called Kali, which is a Philippine art mostly using sticks and knives, although it does use staffs and pure fists too. It's so much fun to learn, and I recommend it to anyone who might be interested as it isn't that physically taxing. Also, you get to fell like some kind of assassin as you swing the weapons around, especially when you have a stick in each hand. :)

At the moment I am also writing my own books with my own characters, and I did not realize at all how much time and effort actually goes into writing until I started. It's so complicated, especially with making sure things fit, but I hope that the finished products will be worth it in the end. But mainly I write just for fun, which is why I've signed up here:

Sometimes when I'm writing my own things, I spend so long doing it that I feel like I need a break from the characters and the world and the writing for a few days. Once I get back to it, it takes me like an hour sometimes to get into the flow of it again, and that can be extremely frustrating for me because all I want to do is write and write and write but I can't, because I feel like I'm rushing. Anyway, after going through this process countless times lately I've finally thought of a solution: fanfiction. On here I can write more freely, without having to spend so much time going over spellings and editing little phrases and things as I go. This way I can also maintain the flow of writing whilst still having a break from my own things; I can write with other characters, and whatever types of scenes in whatever settings I feel like in that moment, rather than slowly counting down the chapters to that one part that's coming up that I can't wait for.

Basically, I've signed up here to have fun, and do something that I love without having to worry about things I would normally stress about when writing my own stories.

Just some last notes about any fanfics I write: I welcome constructive criticism, messages, and any opinions you may have. Obviously it's up to you, but I would really appreciate it if you could tell me things about my writing, the bad and the good, as since I'm thinking of publishing one day it would be nice to get corrections and alterations where needed. :) Thank you so much to anyone who would take the minute or two to do this for me. Xx

Sorry, last thing: all of you writers out there are amazing. I've been reading fanfiction from a fairly young age (which, occasionally, may not have been the best thing for a nine year old to stumble upon...) and to this day I remain truly inspired. Thank you to you all, you are amazing. It's because of people like you that I have such an imagination, and a mind filled with wonderful paintings of carefully-crafted scenes, worlds, and well-written interpretations of characters. Just thank you so much.

And thank you for actually getting to the bottom of this! Sorry, I didn't expect it to be so long!

Hope that wherever you are in the world, you're having a great day/night, and have many great times to come.

How are two mortals likely to fare Under The Mountain? Two thieves with no magic, no understanding of the world they've just been thrown into and no way out. An Acrobat and a Crime Lord, against one of the most powerful monsters alive. Only Kaz Brekker and Inej Ghafa could make this one out alive (with the help of a few unlikely alliances)...

Arryn is the daughter of a lesser-known merchant, forced to live her life by the same dull routine. She craves excitement and change- and where better to find them than the dark streets of the Barrel? However, as Arryn finds herself growing more and more entangled in the dealings of the gangs, not everything is as it seems... (Sorry, I suck at summaries)
