![]() Author has written 3 stories for Legend of Zelda. I get writer's block. A lot. Just to warn you. I first started writing for pleasure simply because I kept having weird dreams that made sense to some extent. I guess you could say I'm still writing today because I have weird dreams that sort of make sense. It's my single greatest inspiration for writing. Now I don't know what that says about me, but I know it works and that's all that really matters. If I had an obsession, I guess it would be The Legend of Zelda. I'm sure I'm not the only one that fell asleep with thoughts about how to solve a certain puzzle in that one dungeon. My brain tends to latch onto those sorts of things and by the time I wake up, the situation in the game has been twisted and changed so much it's taken on a life of its own. I happen to be lucky (or unlucky?) enough to remember them. Most of these spawned stories are short, small little things that really have nothing to do with anything. The Curse of the Mooncat was different, of course. What played out in my dream was so solid and real that after I awoke, I was able to keep spinning it, so to speak. Of all my little mental playgrounds, Curse of the Mooncat is honestly the most promising. If I don't finish it, I will be very disappointed in myself. That being said, I know it will take me some times to finish it. I also hope that when I do finish it, I will find the oomph to start and the finish the sequel that currently lives only in my imagination. Here's hoping! |
