![]() Greetings, ladies, gents, Reploids, Klingons, and all others in between. Welcome to my domain of stories that mostly make up of AUs and trying my best to add onto characters in some of my favorite franchises, but will most likely be consistent to mainly talk about our favorite Blue Bomber, you know the one, Mega Man! Now, the reason for my name, "Fiction's RocketMan," or "RocketMan" for short, is that on here, I like the idea of relating myself to just a few of the lyrics to Rocket Man by Elton John: I feel like I'm in a realm that isn't exactly like anything we know much about in real life when I put my mind in these worlds, almost like floating in space. In the boundary of my computer and phone screens that I use to type these stories, I do not seem like the same man that my friends and family in the real world think I am at home, because I don't always express my mind to them. And that probably really is for the best, as this account, this collection of my stories are not something that I'd like them to know about, so I think it's gonna be a long, long time before they find what my brain thinks of, or else I'm afraid that the word getting out that I wrote these would potentially ruin my life. And other than all that, it just feels special, to be able to get to a place where your mind can put down what it truly thinks and maybe even entertain others with what you write, there's virtually nothing similar to it else than helping people that you know in real life with things, kind of like that special feeling you'd get to have some kind of job that's unlike all others, such as a spaceman, a rocket man. But for the stories themselves, as I mentioned before, they will be usually be alternate universes, mostly consisting of Mega Man content. The reason for this is that I like to add or build my own thing on another's world sometimes to make it more appealing if I want the mood to be a bit different than it's previous, original setting. The purpose of the "mostly Mega Man" statement was that I find the different parts of the very extensive Mega Man story line to be very interesting and unique; that and I don't know enough about many other fandoms or communities that really sparked my interest in them to know enough information to write a story about it, such as Harry Potter, Pokemon, Dragon Ball, and a thousand other things that I never got into very much, at least not as much as the Blue Bomber. In terms of characters, that's another reason that I want to write about AUs, because of how I react to the way a character acts in a story, if I see something wrong in them that doesn't really fit for some reason, I like to change the way they work according to how I like to write characters and dialogue in my own fanfic and non-fanfic stories: this includes, writing how a character can finally reach acceptance of a certain matter and get over it, how one(such as a villain) can have something like sympathy even if it's buried deep down in their throat and systems, how characters should have proper motive to do what they do caused by things in said character's environment, such as what forms of limitations he might have to things and what he excels in and other characters around them and how they affect them, provide humorous feedback and/or commentary, and et cetera. Other times, I rewrite them to my wants because sometimes people just want an interesting story that puts a spin on some things in it. For the stories, I don't like writing the same plot more than once, as I usually try to make each of my stories have their own flavor; whether that be as identifiable and distinctively different as chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, or be like deciding if you want to have some cookie dough or chocolate-chip cookie dough. Either way, I simply don't really like writing the same story but with different characters very much because it doesn't make any of those stories feel very special. Yes, I most definitely plan on writing mainly around a certain theme in a lot of my stories that I've planned to put on here, but I still want to try to think of a different conflict and such for each one. Other than that, these are pieces of music that I recommend listening to because they generally help me in the spirit of writing and getting ideas for stories and such other related things: Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity - Gustav Holst Space Junk Road - Super Mario Galaxy OST Overture - Super Mario Galaxy OST Data Base - Mega Man & Bass (SNES) OST Frost Man - Mega Man 8 (PS1) OST Rocket Man - Elton John Tiny Dancer - Elton John Bolero - Maurice Ravel Stompin' at the Savoy - Benny Goodman Stardust - Benny Goodman In the Mood - Glenn Miller Moonglow - Cab Calloway Chinese Rhythm - Cab Calloway Jumpin' Jive - Cab Calloway La Vie en Rose - Louis Armstrong Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffet On Melancholy Hill - Gorillaz Wish I Knew You - the Revivalists Necro Nebula - Kirby Mass Attack OST Lola Montez - Volbeat The Bliss - Volbeat You've Come Far, Ness - Earthbound OST Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra The Longest Time - The A Cappella Trudbol version on YouTube -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNNQh9wtisc We'll Fight for Uncle Sam - Some dude during the American Civil War, I don't know; Google wouldn't tell me. Until I can think of others that I like enough to be put down on here, that's it for the music. Some of my favorite quotes, ever: "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'” - Mr. Rogers. "Domo arigato, Mr.Roboto." - Styx "You're so ugly, you could be a modern art masterpiece!" - Gunnery Sergeant Hartman "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." - Bob Ross. "I am ze' angry bird god of the badlands! FEAR MEEE!" - Team Fortress 2 Medic "RUFF-RUFF!" - my Dog. " Singing in a hoedown oh, it's not a hippo. It's just Drew Carey!" - Ryan Stiles. "I hope this is the last time we need to use weapons of war like this, X. I really do." - Dr. Light in Mega Man X8 "I know now that everything I write, I’m going to put out, and I’ll have to live with it for the rest of my life." - "Weird" Alfred Yankovic. Just as the same with the songs, that's the end of the list until I can find some more to add-on. Now, I believe that is it for the profile biography summary of me and my account on this wonderful website. My friends and such, have a good day, read some of my works, read others' works, and be great and creative in your own writing for the site and other places for literature that you so wish to write for. Farewell, and bye! |
