Author has written 2 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, and RWBY. Hi, I'm a writer by hobby who would like to turn it into something more using this platform to refine my craft and inspire my stories. I feel competent in the areas of writing dialogue and developing characters, but need practice in conveying strong emotion, action/fight scenes and humor. I would love for you to read any of my stories and give honest feedback. I know that I make a plethora of typing errors as my fingers can't keep up with my brain sometimes. I like books a lot and can say I draw my inspiration from lots of books that I like including: The Thief Series The Artemis Fowl Series The Chronicles of Narnia The Lord of the Rings The Michael Vey Series Atlas Shrugged (yes, I read it. Yes, it's kinda boring. Yes, I liked it anyway) Jane Austen's big four (Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, Emma and Sense and Sensibility) Diana Wynn Jones' Castle series Jurassic Park and The Lost World I am familiar with the Classics (Shakespeare and the like), but am fine with the modern stuff as well. I like sweet endearing love stories, and admire adherence to canonicity, but am fine with non canon ships or scenarios as well as modern and contemporary tales. I really enjoy crime and forensic settings as well as science fiction and the possibilities it creates. In order to further my writing skills, I've decided to branch out and take requests. I'm not interested in any collaborations or stories that will take more than a couple chapters as well as keeping things with a T rating for now. Not that I mind adult content, I just don't want people to get the impression I want to write smut/pwp. Due to personal beliefs as well, I wouldn't be interested in writing any same sex or polyamorous ships in any of my stories. Those are probably my only restrictions though, I"m up for the challenge of writing new things and new perspectives. I would consider myself best at writing dark romances, thematic and AU stories as I'm good at plugging in characters into different settings while maintain their original character as much as possible. I prefer a little bit of adversity rather than just a fluff story, but having never written fluff, I'd be willing to give it a go. Fandoms I am familiar with: RWBY Sailor Moon Inuyasha Fate/Stay series Fullmetal Alchemist Outlaw Star Avatar (TLA and LOK) Yu-gi-oh Sword Art Online Most Hayao Miyazaki films MDCBC Lore Olympus I also have a flare for wanting to write stories based on the old Greek and Roman myths, as well as dramatic re-tellings of folktales from every region of the world. I find them fascinating and easy to modernize and spice up with a few twists. Go ahead and PM me if you'd like to take a chance on me. Thanx |
