![]() Author has written 12 stories for Teen Titans, Prince of Tennis, One Piece, Misc. Books, Justice League, Superman, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, and Bible. Why yes, I am avoiding the only stories I plan on continuing. Why do you ask? ~Inu~ Last time I'll change my penname, I promise!! I just didn't really like Muttluver as my fanfiction username... Oh, I also used to be Man's Best Friend. Anyway. I'm female. I'm a teenager. I love dogs. I love superheroes and anime. Most of my fantasy world revolves around me inserting myself into my favorite fandoms. Now, I like a well written oc, where they still keep the original characters intact, or make the story interesting enough for the reader to not mind. However, the world in my head is always in flux, and the Mary Sue has gained an infamously bad reputation, so... I won't be posting as much as I'd like. My specialty seems to be getting inside the head of a character and narrating from their point of view. This was not intentional, it just kind of turned out that way, and it works for me. I also will probably not do multi-chapter fics. For one thing, I don't trust myself to keep it going. For another, I just don't get ideas for multi-chapter fics. I write for fun. I am sympathetic, but not very swayed by pleas to continue. I will give it thought, but unless inspiration hits me, I won't write anything. Sorry. That sounds so mean! T.T But really, it's better if I don't try to force my writing. For those who don't know, here's a little key to common words and phrase you might find in fanfiction: Fanfic related: OC = Original Character. A character of the author's own making. NOT THE SAME AS OOC. OOC = Out Of Character. A character in the series not acting the way he canonically would in the fic. Mary Sue = An OC who is either perfect or seriously messed up. Usually a girl, and usually takes over the story. Most people inexplicably love this person, and there will probably be several paragraphs detailing likes, dislikes, looks, etc. Canon = The events of the original show/book/etc., including how the characters would act. If, say, there is a set pairing in the show, and the fic supports that pairing, that is canon. If another ship is supported, (especially if the two characters have never actually met in show(!)) that is not canon. Plot Bunny = An idea that comes to an author and simply won't leave. Muse = Inspiration for a fic. Ship = Pairing PWP = Plot, What Plot? I guess this can be used for nonsense fics, but it's usually used for... to put it delicately... Adult Material. Lemon = I can't avoid this one. Sex. There's more, but this is a basic... thing... to help newer readers know what they're getting into. (Which is why I included the last two.) I had to learn all this through many hours of surfing and reading, so... I thought some people might benefit. For any more questions, go to www.tvtropes.org. But don't go there unless you have a lot of time on your hands. Seriously, every explanation has at least ten tropes you probably won't recognize, and you'll feel compelled to click on them, and each trope has many (sometimes hundreds) of examples from anime/manga, cartoons, comics, games, real life, tv, etc... it's fun, but YOU WILL GET SUCKED IN. Unless you don't follow anime/manga/cartoons/comics/tv series, in which case, how the blue blazes did you even find this page? I am a Contradiction. I’m a wise fool stumbling in light, who boldly shrinks yet fights yet avoids confrontation I’m an open closed book that’s always running while I drag on through my days. I don’t to speak I want be heard as I shout I’m a new-fangled rebel clinging to old fashioned beliefs who pushes away while drawing close and tearing apart the things I want to hold together. I despise what I love and break what I want to build, while building what I want to break and refusing yet reaching for help that I want to come while I want to be left alone. My nonsensical words make sense because I’m a logical fool who knows nothing and everything | |||||||
