![]() Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter, and Maximum Ride. Liz' Stuff (My friend Cai wrote this. Please copy and paste it into your profile, your comments, whatever. If you do, you'll be one step closer to a better future for all of us) All right. This is a forwarding message to the kids of the world. Please, if you have the time to care about the Earth, read on. I'm Cai, I'm 13 years old, and these are the facts about our beloved home: The economy is in the toliet "Stimulus packages" are tearing this country apart In about 15-20 years, the USA will be more populated by hispanics than americans Some of Obama's recent decisions have given a hard beating to the middle class True statement: in a recent press conference, Obama referred to America as 58 States. 58?? ARE YOU SERIOUS, OBAMA?? And, most importantly We kids are this country's future. What i'm trying to say is that we need to step up to the plate, fellow kids! According to many reports, our elders and our parents think that the kids in China are better and smarter than us because they don't have summer vacation!! And some people, like Obama for instance, are thinking very hard about CANCELLING SUMMER VACATION BECAUSE OF IT!! I bet that every kid has experienced a position in which they're parents discuss the horrors of our economy. But do they consult with us mere kids? No!! There is no "well, timmy, what do YOU think of the economy?" or "Katie, do YOU think that the stimulus plan will fail?" Yes!! The truth is, parents and adults don't believe us to be smart, and I think they just want to ignore the fact that in a couple of years WE will be running the economy, One of us will become the next american president, one of us might be the next Oprah, or the next Martha Stewart, or the next Tom Cruise, or even the next Michael Jackson!! One of us could be the next person on the moon, or even MARS. And parents don't recognize our full potential! I say we step up to the plate!! I say we tell the world that the kids DO matter!! I say we defend summer vacation, IMing, Email, the Internet, and, of course, our home, the United States of America. Because we need to. Please put your name below, with your age, then forward this to as many kids between the ages of 10-17 as possible!! Try not to send this to adults, they are too busy with the economy to worry about this!! Let the world hear our cry!! We need to all agree on this!! Kids stick together!! Rally!! Cai, Age 13 Liz, Age 13 If we're going to start building a better future, there are a few things we need to focus on. Okay, so you may not believe in Global Warming (see Max's speech below), and there is nothing wrong with that, because some people don't. But even you can't ignore the cold, hard, truth. Animals are still becoming endangered, and even extinct. Earth is still being polluted with hazardous gasses and waste and just plain old trash. You like animals better than bugs, right? Or do you like bugs better than animals? Because in less than a hundred years, those people that like bugs better than animals are going to be extremely happy. You like going for walks? Just plain being outside? You can forget about that! It'll smell bad, because of all the waste pouring into our eco system EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY!! ANd more than that, it might even be dangerous to go outside because of all that waste. Think about that. You might be thinking, So? I'll just change it when I'm older, when I actually have the power to do so. We're just kids! WRONG. Have your parents ever said to you "Jimmy, you can't do this because you're only a kid (or teen). I should do it because I know what I'm doing"? First of all, YES you are only a kid/teen. But can you still make a difference? YES. Don't wait until you're an adult. Because by then it will be too late. Second of all, do the adults of today's world actually know what they're doing? NO. Otherwise everything would be running off of solar power, there'd be less wars, animals wouldn't be becoming endangered. Just recently I read an article about the top ten most endangered animals in the world. Number one on the list was some kind of dolphin. Guess how many were left. LESS THAN 20. Guess why? Two words. Poachers & Pollution of their homes (okay, so that's more than two. You get my point) Amy's Stuff (which is awesome, FYI) Yeah, so I have too much stuff to keep up with. There's this new fanfiction with Liz. Then there's my fanfiction (tiduscanfly) that people are nagging me about working on a particularly awesome story. Then there's my first youtube (diamond97802). Then there's my second youtube (tiduscanfly). Then my shared youtube (shared with Liz and our friend Happy, Happynator97802). Then I have to do this poem analasys thingy for school. Lucky me. I'm trying to keep up with it all, and people bugging me about that story I mentioned just ends up with short, not-well-thought-out chapters. So no nagging. Me no likey. Alright, now that I'm done whining about my life, I'll just say this: LinkxMidna, LinkxMalon, LinkxIlia, FangxBrigid, ShuyinxYuna, BaralaixPaine, and IggyxElla do NOT go well with me. The first five conflict seriously with my preferances, and the last two are just plain STUPID. On another note: LinkxZelda, TidusxYuna, TidusxRikku, GipplexRikku, and FangxMax are completely acceptable by me. But I can get pretty protective about LinkxZelda. Probably cause there's not really that much proof that it exists. But look at the little hints. Look at her face in the end of OoT. It's there. And I'm totally conflicting with Rikku and Tidus. I have two preferred ships for both of them XD Ya, so now that I've done my babbling about various ships, I'll state the obvious. I love FFX. and Zelda. And Maximum Ride. There's more, but those are really the only ones for ships. So now I'm actually sick of talking. Well, typing. That usually doesn't happen. But I have nothing else to say except that I love Fang 'cause he's awesome and James Patterson is a genious. |
