You are seated in a large, plush chair lined with a soft yet resilient black material of unknown origin. Why that is important, I have no idea. However, let's just get on with the rest of the setting. The room surrounding you is filled with many objects that would be fascinating to you in some sci-fi plot; despite this, you are squarely focused on the viewscreen before you, a large, flat object reminiscent of one of those expensive TVs that people like to hang on walls. It seems rather fitting that the viewscreen is in fact hung on a wall, which is painted a particularly bland shade of beige. The fact that the paint job is poor is of no consequence whatsoever.

On the viewscreen, a flickering image is displayed: me.

Hey. I'm Whitty, and I'm witty. Actually, I'm not all that witty, but that's besides the point. If I ever come up with anything particularly well-written, feel free to let me know. In truth, I'm just a teenage writer who likes to experiment in his free time with various story styles. I've written fanfic, I've tried to write some neo-noir fiction, and I even developed a couple of basic plotlines for full-fledged fantasy novellas. No, I haven't finished any of these. Right now my main problem is that the plots always self-destruct once things reach a certain level of complexity. Anyone who has experience writing fic with complex plotlines, well, I'd appreciate some advice, because I've never quite figured it out.

But who am I? I'm 16 years old, getting ready to graduate from high school. I'm actually more of a numbers person than a lit person, and really only started writing due to some positive outside influences and a desire to develop the weaker half of my brain. I'm an extreme thinker who takes the word daydreaming and rewrites its definition (sorry for the cliché).

I play drums in a band with my friends. We're not particularly good, but we have fun, which is more important. If you like bands that fall between Fall Out Boy, Chevelle, and Emery... well, you'd still say we suck, but you'd know what we were trying to do. I like to mosh at the local shows a whole lot, particularly when my friends are on stage. Some of them actually DO have a lot of talent and are trying to make careers out of it.

Other hobbies of mine include programming text-based videogames, any sport named football, and... damn. That's it. Oh well.

Resigned to the fact that all relevant anonymous details of my life can be condensed into a relatively small space, I turn around and walk out of your view.
