Author has written 2 stories for Inheritance Cycle, and StarTrek: Deep Space Nine.

Aah, I have finally come to it (May 1st, 2011). The name is Noel (pronounced No-ol). I'm a casual writer from Canada who, from time to time, loves to delve into his favourites such as Star Trek, Stargate (no particular favourite there), Fringe etc. Suffice it to say I love my science fiction and my television.

And, as I will say in all of my summaries and descriptions, I love criticism (whether it be positive or negative). I have been raised to take criticism and to take it well, as I know (in the long run) it will benefit me more than it could ever damage me and my writing. So if ever you leave a review, but you feel compelled to send me more, e-mail me at noel.guscott@gmail.com . You can also follow me on twitter @NoelGuscott , where I will begin to do updates of whatever pieces I happen to be working on at the time, or even add me on Facebook! And as a side-note, most of my past writing experience has taken the form of RPGing/simming with a Star Trek group known as Bravo Fleet. But anyway!

I have written two stories on Fan Fiction.net now. The first, written long ago, was an Inheritance Series fan-fiction that I long since abandoned (though it would still be delightful to check my older work as well). My most recent story is based on one of my favourite characters from all time in any work of fiction to date! That character is Elim Garak, the cunning, mysterious Cardassian tailor we all come to love and hate both as a man with a shady past, but a character we just couldn't seem to get enough of. It speaks endless bounds to the work of actor Andrew Robinson on Garak's character that he just came off as so - well, so real. So from both a writing and acting perspective, I admire Garak and the man behind his performance, Mr. Robinson. Thus my most recent story, A Lack of Imagination, is almost like a tribute to him. It is my take on what could have happened after the Dominion War was over in Garak's life, and I take a good deal of my content from on-screen (known as canon) material.

When I'm not writing in some form or another, I am first and foremost a full-time student. A busy full-time student, aspiring actor and political studies student at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I like to stay involved within my school and my community, so I constantly play rugby, act in local or school shows, and always keep up-to-date with local, federal, and international events. A lot of which I see is what gives me inspiration to pick up the pen and thumb the keyboard, so I don't think I'll stop anytime soon.

But anyway, thanks for the support folks! And please, PLEASE feel free to message me, e-mail me, or review my work. I love to know people enjoy what I enjoy doing!
