Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Sherlock. Hello! I am The AU No-Bashing Writer Alive, the older brother of Harmonious Cannons. I shall primarily write Harry Potter fanfiction, Sherlock Holmes fanfiction and LOTR stories, the latter two generally as crossovers with the former. As the name suggests, I endeavour to write stories without bashing. Why? I think that the website is saturated with stories where bashing is rife. The reason is simple - bashing is simple. It is very easy to target one or more character(s) and making their being powerless, or their destruction in someway the panacea to all the problems with the main characters. This doesn't mean I like all characters, but if I don't, and the story seems better to me with any particular character being shown in a negative light, I will try to ensure that the character is not an incarnation of Satan himself. As far as possible, if any character that is shown as a positive one in the canon but is negative in my stories, it will not be for your run-of -the-mill things like love potions and such. There will be reasons which I shall strive to keep sensible. For example in Killing Time, Snape is a Death Eater and traitor completely. Once the trip through time is done, he is dealt with as one. If he were to be bashed, he would be targeted and repeatedly punished when dealing with him as any common murderer would suffice. That said, everybody makes mistakes, and it will be something that the characters will reflect. My stories will always be Harmony-ships, if I write Harry Potter fanfiction. If, in the rarest of cases, I indulge in H/Multi, H/Hr will still be the basic ship. Any story will therefore deviate book 5 onwards in terms of ships and the relations and relationships between the characters, as well as incidents, while keeping the plot devices intact; ergo, slight AU. I am not likely to ever attempt m/m slash, because while the idea of equality and rights is essentially correct, it can very easily degenerate to crassness if not properly done. It then may become derogatory, which I don't wish my stories to be. As for f/f slash, if I can keep it clean, then yes I shall write it. There may be references to lemons, but I will never write lemons outright. I am also NOT a native English Speaker. So I am likely to make mistakes from time to time, particularly regarding British English usage and American English usage. I tend to prefer the former, so if I inadvertently use the latter and there are British alternatives, I will be thankful for the corrections, Most of all, I shall try to keep things within the ambit of logic. Happy Reading! Story updates: Killing Time: Complete. And I see you, as you are: It is a long story. I am looking at a fifth-year conclusion. The Casebook of The only consulting Detective Auror: This is the upcoming story. It will start off like most stories of the Reptillia28 challenge do, with a meeting with an official of Death. However, thereafter, it will be a Sherlock Holmes (not SHERLOCK)/Harry Potter crossover. The characters, though, will have characteristics like SHERLOCK characters, but the stories will be based on the original stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It is still being built, in my mind, and I would heartily accept suggestions for a Mrs. Hudson replacement and a John Watson replacement. These have to be canon characters, which go closest to Mrs. Hudson and John Watson as they are in the TV Serial. |
