Kakashi awaken to a familiar figure sitting by his bedside. Itachi looks so broken and hopelessly lost that Kakashi fears he has finally reached his limit. He doesn't know what to do, but apparently being alive is enough.

Just my take on the last conversation between Sakumo and Kakashi. Writing isn't very good - read only for a new take, if you want one, on why a man as brave as Sakumo would have been pushed to suicide. Originally intended as a longer series, it is now a one shot.
