Never fails to amaze me that the Disney fic about The Jungle Book always gets the most views...

Anyway, after nearly a year of my laptop being super moody, I'm finally typing again. It helps that I got a good job, too. (anti-depressants, too, lol) Despite my somewhat colorful profile, I try not to put too many swear words in my fics, if any. Not sure why. Habit, I guess.

Anywaaaaay, I'm hoping to FINALLY finish Mind Games sometime in like the next ten years, lmao. Seriously, I'm beginning to think if I ever finish that piece, I'll die the next day or something weird. But I am currently editing the next chapter and it really looks like there's not too many more chapters. And I have watched a LOT of Danny Phantom since originally posting it despite my aging body. Oh, wait, a little bit about me. I've been using this site since it was young, since I was young, reading DBZ fanfics on it when I was 14, let's just say that was over ten years ago, hell, won't be too much longer that'll it be twentyfuckingyearsagowhat?? Just goes to show you, some things don't change, lol.

I guess life really doesn't turn out the way you expect it. I experienced several years of deep depression, struggling with suicidal thoughts and cut off from family for around two years, but you know, I'm still here. Swallowed some pride, saw some therapists, found a decent job, found out how wonderful medical benefits are and love my doctor for being so understanding and helping me find a way to do more than just exist day in and day out. That is to say if you're out there and struggling, don't give up. Don't ever, ever, ever give up, it will get better and sometimes it might take years, but it'll improve even if you only have yourself to rely on, you will make it.

My interests are pretty broad. I have some trouble concentrating on reading nowadays, supposedly a side effect from the untreated major depressive disorder that lasted several years, but I have been working on it and slowly improving. Nowhere like before where I could bust out books in no time, but at least I can get through a chapter or two instead of struggling through three to four pages and not even knowing what I was reading. I still find it easier to read on the computer so I guess I should look into getting a kindle.

I'm really pretty laid back.

I kind of just go with the flow, not a total follower because I know when to pull back and find another thing to do, but not necessarily a leader either and not really looking for one. Guess I just lead myself and bounce when I feel like it. Unless you plan on fighting, I got your back, I mean, I might get totally smashed, but I won't leave you, lmao!!
