This started out as a joint account for me and my boyfriend. I'm Serpent, and he's Griffin, hence the name Griffinscale. Now, though, it's just me as I now have my own computer and we're not working on "The Serpent and the Lion."

Serpent: I'm interested in reading, writing, roleplaying, surfing the web, and of course fanfic. I write songs, poems, stories. I love to read lyrics and listen to music as well as watch music videos. I love the bands Linkin Park, Green Day, Simple Plan, and a few more. I like to take walks and hike. I love making friends. I'm very loyal, and very stubborn. I can be impulsive, and I love to have fun and smile and hang out. But I do have dark times, which I channel into my writing, like with Nicole. Back In Time Summary: Harry is not happy with how the war ended. So he uses a special Time Turner to return to the end of his 5th year, in his fifteen year old self's body- just after he has the vision of Sirius in the Department of Mysteries. *Back In Time can also be found at and .* NOT slash, although I had originally planned for it to be.

Tainted Summary: Companion to Back In Time- this is Draco’s side of the story. He becomes a Death Eater, but sees firsthand the cruelty and ruthlessness of the Death Eaters. Horrified and tormented by their actions, and his own, he sinks into depression and self-loathing. He feels utterly tainted, damned.

"Keeping a Promise" Summary: Set immediately after OotP. This fic is my attempt at answering three questions: 1) What would happen if Vernon already has plans for Harry when they returned to Privet Drive? 2) Who DOES Hermione love? 3) Just how far will she go to keep a promise?(Somewhat AU, with a Time travel theme.) NOTE: Story is now complete with the addition of a tiny epilogue and the inclusion of my final planned edits to all 50 chapters.

(My notes: Incredible fic, you should definitely check this out! Original idea and the characterization holds true and is very detailed. The emotions and thoughts are described clearly and very well. A smooth and enjoyable read.)

"Harry Potter and the Circle's End" Summary: Picks up two weeks after the events of HBP. However reluctantly Harry has inherited a quest that will determine the fate of the world.

(My notes: Great story, with strong imagery and good plot devices. Smooth in pace and transitions, it does not falter or get boring/tedious at any time.)
