Hiatus/Completed/Writing purgatory:

Saudade: When I originally planned this out, I saw it being two or three parts long. However, after going back to it, I feel like it ended on the exact note that I wanted it to. Maybe one day if I feel it's necessary will I give it a second part, but for now I'm calling it complete.

Drinking Games: Also a story in which my initial vision for what the story should be foolishly trumped the needs of the story itself. Would a second part be cool? Probably. Does the story need it? No. Therefore, I declare this one complete too!

After the Rain: This story is Desi's case study regarding the dangers of taking so long to write a story that you end up getting both a high school diploma and a college degree in the time it takes to finish seventeen chapters (because let's be real, that eighteenth chapter is the herald of a three year long silence). Looking back at that story is a rollercoaster of reactions ranging from cringes that have me diving for the 'Delete Chapter' button and curt nods congratulating myself for writing something decent by my current standards. It's unfortunately a story that has developed alongside both my maturity, tastes, and writing ability, which is why it is such a clusterfuck (and why I have sort of written myself into a corner). I have a complete overhaul of the story planned out, including a title change (!!!), but since it would require me to rewrite over 60,000 words (240 pages!) of material using time that I could be writing new things, I am extremely reluctant to get started; I am a no-good, very bad writer in this regard.
